Is the McKenna final on live and if so which channel please? I can't get setanta Ireland so hopefully it's on TG4.

There's no way I'm going to Belfast on a Saturday night for a mis-matched friendly like this. Derry to win by at least 8 pts.

I was just reading the Down thread and this McKenna cup run has really grabbed the imagination of the whole County!!

I expect a big crown from Down to turn for the final and Derry to win by at least 8 points.

Lads - it's only the McKenna Cup FFS! We'll not be parading it through Maghera on an open top bus on Saturday night!

If they don't get the defence sorted soon they'll be lucky to be playing UEFA cup football next year. Rafa is a greast guy but needs to sort out the defence quickly.

McDonnell says raft of questions need to be answered
22 January 2008

Armagh football boss Peter McDonnell says that a whole host of questions need to be addressed ahead of his naming of his NFL panel inside the next 24 hours.

McDonnell insists that there will be no automatic inclusions but he is conscious of the need to introduce some new, fresh blood.

"I'm faced with a challenge now, with a number of questions I need to find answers to: are some of the more seasoned players just that wee bit beyond it now?

"Is the hunger still there: I can't answer those questions yet - the answers will become more obvious as time moves on.

"There was an expectation that there would be a mass exodus of senior players when Joe stepped down. That hasn't been the case. I have no aversion to experience, who might be in some quarters be referred to as an 'older player'; the one thing I'm interested in people who want to give it a lash, give it all they have."

Why did that clown stick his leg out and trip Giggs? What a stupid penalty to give away with 3 minutes left.

Is it true that payments in Derry are more enhanced and better than any other county in Ulster ?

Yes. There was a significant problem regarding referees not turning up for matches a couple of years ago. They were getting waful abuse and the 20p a mile expenses didn't cover the rising cost of diesal.
Derry County Board decided to pay Ref's a flat rate £40 a game. The problem has now been reversed, now ref's are looking more matches. In Antrim I've heard they get paid 20p a mle plus £10 for a bite to eat.

Babies should not be aloud in Mass. Little gags should be distributed at the doors.

OK I apologise. No harm meant.

Well said Sky Blue!!

Now if Mighty Quinn had said something like that on Sunday night he might be sleeping in his own bed tonight rather than on the run!

Personally I believe that some young men decide to turn gay because they think it will make them more interesting or they're just attracted to what they consider a glamorous lifestyle.

You call this glamorous?

Mighty Quinn and Pints aren't about tonight  :o

I reckon 5Times is the factory worker, Mighty Quinn is the 22 year old student and Pints is the middle aged mother.

Apparently the rise in female teachers mirrors exactly the rise in homosexuality amongst the male population.

I hope you don't believe that!

The place has had a very bad rep in recent years. Thank God they built the bye-pass.
