I was just watching a few clips of the Ardboe V Omagh game on the tyrone website there!! My god how did Omagh not get a free in the lead up to Ardboes goal in the second half!! Big McConville nearly took the omagh man's head off with a shoulder straight up the mouth!! It was a straight red offence never mind a free!!
What was your take on it orangeman?? Have a look at it there if you want!!

Orangeman,

dooher is past it. that was there for all to see this year. his legs are gone and this was no clearer than when he was up against cork. there is no room for the likes of ageing players on teams these days, unless they offer height or pace - neither of which dooher has.

mcguigan is the same. the coolness on the ball he brings is becoming irrelevant: the game is too fast and there is less room for forwards like mcguigan to operate in. his cunning is soon snuffed out. see tyrone v cork semi-final

i think hughes' legs have gone also.

mulligan needs to get leaner/fitter.

mcginley isn't fast enough for mid-field these days. probably best operating around the 1/2 forward line.

They were all fit enough and fast enough against antrim !!!

Heard that Coalisland failed to fulfill their League Cup match with Ardboe this evening. Not much respect around Coalisland for the memory of their former "great" the late Jim Devlin whose family donated the Jim Devlin Cup. But maybe we expect too much!!

they did not but with 7's tournament on sat, league match Vs Eglish on sun, Jim Devlin fixture threw in on the Tue, under 21 match Vs Errigal on Thursday and finally errigal seniors on sat!!!! Realistically 5 games in 8 Days don't imply the Fianna did not show respect you should be laying that on the county board DCR :(
Not sure what you mean by "they did not" but don't Coalisland and Ardboe play the same number of League games and I suspect that not all Fianna players are U21? Also think you should check out when Fianna called it off - it certainly wasn't last week and these fixtures have been known for a while.

Yes they play the same number of League games but Adrboe did not play on Sun or Under 21 match on Thur, plus the match was fixed for Sunday at the same time as the Eglish Game so yes the FIXTURE Was known but known to be wrong!!
And Lastly At least 10 senior starters are under 21 along with the majority of Squad members so Pipe down when you are commenting on topics with limited intelligence
What are "topics with limited intelligence"? - and there's no need for you to get hot and bothered - you seem to be a Fianna man. I still think Fianna action (or inaction) is disrespectful to the memory of Jim Devlin RIP one of their former stalwarts and also to the Devlin Family all of whom  have long and strong links with Coalisland Fianna.

I think it is disrespectful of you to assume to know what the Devlin family might think, and to use it to have cheap shots the Coalisland club
I agree!! What a load of absolute bollocks DCR!!!!!

Greencastle beat Loughmacrory in the U21 tonight.

Greencastle 2-12   v Loughmacroy 0-01

Thats a joke!! You would think after winning at that grade last year, you boys would have benefitted more from testing yourselves in the higher grade Ziggy!!! 2-12 to 0-01 is hardly beneficial to either team!!

Lads, were any of you aware of a  rule stating that county minors can not play in the reserve knockouts? I have heard that Carrickmore played a minor, who is no where near the senior squad, in the semi against Dromore last Friday and subsequentley been thrown out of the tournament and the player himself suspended for a month. Neither the club nor the player were aware of such rules. He came on as a sub in the closong minutes and touched the ball twice. Indeed it was his reserve debut. As a result he misses the minor league final tonight!

I think something similar happened in the Intermediate Reserve Championship as well, and Derrylaughan or Rock were put out of the competition!!

I think the one worry with kildare is their full back line as they were destroyed by alright full forwards agin Wicklow. As long as Dermot Earley can get the better of Cavanagh I think Kildare can sneak this. Kildare to win by 2 points

He'll out catch him maybe, but will he follow all his runs? Also I heard from a source that McGinley is ready to go, so we can expect to see him in action if needed!!

You can be sure that HUB will be on Dermot Early !

Moortown or Edendork ?

I'm going for Dromore and Moortown to advance to the next round.

A similar incident has happened recently in Tyrone. Coalisland Fianna refused to name the person involved in an incident, in a game with Omagh. The club were fined £500 and made play the rest of their league games this year, away from home!!

rrhf, What's the status on McCaul - has he played any league football for Donaghmore yet or is he still a bit away?

Damian played full game for Eglish last week. He's back. He's a good footballer and a good lad as well.

That was a bit unfair on Donaghmore that! His first game back and he plays for EGLISH?? ;)

As a repubilcan I would like to see fellow republican help the presbyterians in any way they can. It would be a small step but a positive one in my opinion.

I don't recall Tony posting an opinion on the Clerical Abuse thread, which is amazing as he always has something to say about any of the protestant religions.

Tony is a bigot!! It is that simple, and nothing else really needs said!!

Canavan's call

Tyrone aiming for Ulster Final slot

...
To a large degree, the attack was atrocious. They went 20 minutes without scoring and had no focus and were lackadaisical. I'm not naming names, but the half-forward line was particularly guilty. The first half was brutal, that's the only way I can put it - and that will definitely not do against Derry.

Derry's half-backs are very capable and especially influential, most notably Paul Cartin and Barry McGoldrick who is usually good for three or four points as well - with Sean leo McGoldrick not far behind them. Facing men of that calibre, the Tyrone half-forwards need to knuckle down and a good kick up the backside would do them no harm....

Who does he think he is, God or something?

This is Sean Canavan the former tyrone trainer form Ardboe!! Not The Great One !!
