Quote from: Milltown Row2 on December 29, 2023, 06:50:24 PMSo is getting a house going to be impossible without help?

Mortgages will be over 35 years nowadays rather than the traditional 25..

If they want a house they'll have to do it the same way I did, you save. You get a house when you can afford it.

People rushing out and living out of the house before they are married makes it difficult, staying at home allows young ones to save while not having big outgoings

My eldest daughter has found that when she has to pay her own rent that it stings!

She'll be back after this current rental is up, get a normal job and start saving!

The bank of mum and dad has to stop at some point.

I'm plotting my retirement now, head down, work hard and save!

Years ago you didn't need a deposit and the average multiple of earnings needed for a mortgage now compared to 30 years ago aren't even close, along with debt such as credit cards and car repayments that just didn't exist two generations ago

I'm sure they all have security systems but these targeted attacks of footballers and rich people are usually by highly organised criminal gangs, I can't imagine they are smashing a window to gain entry.

Quote from: RedHand88 on December 26, 2023, 08:58:04 PMIts not Ten Hags fault, its the Glazers. They just need to back the manager and give him another £400 million to spend on top of the £400 million hes spent so far.
Even VAR against them now for a change.

These things even themselves out over the course of the season

The delay of the INEOS involvement being ratified may save him

Perfectly good Liverpool goal ruled out in first half, what is the point of VAR when they don't remedy mistakes by the ref ?

Wasn't a "clear and obvious" wrong call. Had he called it as not a foul, they would not have overturned that either.

The second one where Salah was literally pushed offside by the defender was a f**king joke.

Game changed completely after that.

I would say it was a clear and obvious error, there was obviously no contact from the first couple of replays, the Burnley defender had his head in hands, didn't even ask for a foul.

Mark Clattenburg in the Amazon studio reckoned it was an error and VAR should have intervened.

Is Dave "marginal gains" Brailsford going to have them on the PEDs? INEOS have been running Nice in Ligue 1 in France for a few years now, not exactly a roaring success.

Be interesting to see how it goes

Quote from: nrico2006 on December 23, 2023, 02:37:54 PMTen Hag had had enough time. Not good enough.

I would tend to agree. I don't see any improvement at all. Had a good cup run last season. But got the luck of the draw all home games. And Chelsea spurs and Liverpool were dreadful in the league so top 4 wasn't really much of an achievement. He is running out of time. 13 defeats so far this season. Hard to see a way back for him with those players. No manager will succeed with that squad.

Injuries has played it's part this season but I think looking back now finishing 3rd last season and reaching two cup finals was overachievement with that squad.  Chelsea after 18 games are now 3 points worse off this season under Pochettino, Spurs have only slightly improved points wise.  Liverpool interesting had 28 points after 18 games last season the same as Man United currently have.

Yeah and finished outside the top 4. You can talk all you want about other teams but the number of defeats, across the competitions is off the charts for United.

Quote from: Keyser soze on December 07, 2023, 11:40:04 AMPeople putting up articles from the BBC and the Times of London and then using the word evidence in the same sentence.  :o

Think she is talking about posters like you and Itchy & Tonto in this

The guardian has a similar article to the bbc, it is reporting on the testimony from witnesses, first responders, those that gathered up the bodies.

There are still photos & Hamas video footage. But again if you choose to believe Hamas over them that's fine but it's says a lot about you.

I mean there was footage of a young woman getting trailed onto a motorbike and taken away from the very start of this & the seat of her jogging bottoms were covered in blood.

But good that posters like Tonto1888 & Itchy don't believe it happened because Hamas said it didn't. The same Hamas that killed woman, children and pensioners.

Who to believe ? Multiple innocent witnesses or Hamas?

Embarrassing & pathetic

You probably just need the shower tray resealed so you can probably just do that without removing the tray
