Why didn't Fermanagh just have the Junior Championship as the Intermediate 'Shield' or whatever? Is that not allowed?

Celtic want to compete in the Champion's League simply because it will be better for them in the long run. It's all well and good saying that we should be playing in the Europa League but that badly affects our coefficient and we need to be thinking about that primarily.

The more Celtic compete in the CL, the more likely it is that Scotland will get at worst a bye into the playoff round, at best a group stage berth before the season begins. On top of this, the financial gap will widen between us and any other domestic competitors. Which is the most important thing to do before the zombies come back.

The rumour is that even if Celtic stepped aside, UEFA would have just given Maribor a bye and left Legia in the Europa League. Meaning Celtic would be out of Europe altogether.

It's all well and good saying that Celtic should step aside, but the repercussions aren't clear.

Strong words from Horan about the Cork managments comments about the Mayo team.Saying it was an absolute disgrace that they named players and that it made the win sweeter

Yeah, it's sweet when you win in such circumstances. Cork tried the tactics of the League final 2012. That day they bullied us out of it. Vaughan got special attention. We are a different animal now!

Comments were, on the evidence of today's game, totally justified.

If Tyrone had have committed that many fouls against Cork forwards there would be a massive GAA enquiry headed up by Brolly et al.

The referee was as bad as I've seen, and Mayo were as cynical as I've seen. The Cork Selector's comment about forward line fouls, although also (it has to be said) backed up by the occasional good tackle, is absolutely on the money.

Have a pile of tickets to sell for our club draw up in the Belfast area, £10 each or £20 for 3, top prize is £3000! Where would be the best areas/streets to target in the South Belfast direction or what would my best plan of action be? The sort of areas where there is plenty of money, and willing to give to a GAA club?

I'll be very interested to know how you get on here.

This is win win win for GAA. The lads in Croke Park are really doing all they can to increase revenue streams. They're doing a brilliant job in that regard. Sky now the Sun. All big hitters.

GAA Commercial and Stadium Director, Peter McKenna, said: "The GAA is pleased to confirm arrangements for our clip rights which will see us partner with a leading media organisation with a truly global reach".

What in the actual f**k? The Sun newspaper? Win-win?

Team v Tyrone 2010:

Antrim: J Finucane, C Brady, A Douglas, K O'Boyle, T Scullion (0-1), J Crozier, S Kelly, B Herron, A Gallagher, T O'Neill, K Niblock (1-1), J Loughrey, P Cunningham (0-5, 4f), M McCann (0-1), T McCann (0-1, 1f).
Subs: CJ McGourty (0-4) for Kelly (18), G O'Boyle for O'Neill (40), K McGourty for Herron (40), K Brady for T McCann (52)

Unless, of course, CJ changed his name to G O'Boyle, got subbed off, and then changed his name to K McGourty and was put back on.

'Pouring men into defence' isn't necessarily setting up ultra defensively. It often gives attackers more space, hence you found that Antrim got a whole lot of joy yesterday in Fermanagh's half.

David Ford's contribution to the debate is a wee bit hilarious:

QuoteStormont Justice Minister David Ford said: "Frankly, it sounds like the kind of language that would have gone down well in South Africa a few years ago or the southern parts of the United States half a century ago."

Is there anywhere else, maybe closer to home, that this language might have 'gone down well in', David?

Could it be two big wins against Wexford in two years? Would be a massive achievement if so. Kevin Ryan has got Antrim fearing none of these teams anymore and I for one am delighted to see it.

Anyone saying that, after last night, Tyrone's forwards are better than Dublin or Cork's are absolutely fooling themselves. Coney was rightly hooked and McCurry got little ball. Ronan O'Neill looked lively. Dublin have Dean Rock on their bench, who I would make a starter in any other Intercounty team. You lads must be kidding.

Gerry was good alright. A brass neck helped. He was well able to fight his corner especially when there was fighting going on.

But 16 years on from the GFA all unionists and other dark forces want to do is to rake up the past. It's one of the few sticks they have left to beat SF with.

Take those away and sure what gave they to moan about ?.

I think on the flipside, if Gerry is proven innocent (and it seems, according to William Crawley, he has been/will be) then there really isn't anything that they can beat him with.
