Its going on years and we have all heard this argument before ...I know people who got involved and tried to initiate change over the years, good people but they quickly saw change wasn't happening and wouldn't happen....Its a matter of join the status quo or leave...

There are good people involved but I'm telling you now nothing is for changing...We will lose good men, good managers and good players because of the lack of ambition of the powers that be in this county...

We are staring down the barrel of losing another group of Laois hurlers. How many times have we done this over the years and it never changes?

Yawn more like People who want it their way get involved, don't get their way call the rest of them useless before throwing their toys out of the pram calling them a corrupt group of so and so's
My apologies for boring you further but  I certainly wouldnt call our CB useless  as they are very proficient at what they they do, which amounts to self serving BS which hinders the progress of Laois hurling and football  at every level...enjoy your CB meetings  talking about  all the minions daring to question the authority that is so deserved at our top table.

Any names on your good people ? Or is this your regular BS

Eddie loves Eddie,  doubt he will get Kilkenny job after the U21's.  They don't rate the Joe McDonagh down there.   LCB were upfront in the way they planned the club calendar,  Eddie started dictating through the press, I'd say Ned Quinn In Kilkenny "would love that" !

If you want to know what Leo would of done in that exact position every time yep his grand !  Pat's grand but when he is continuous like yesterday it's poor as it's done with best of intentions but their is no flow to it.  It's a paid for service the odd match with Pat is fine but they actually have gone downhill from Killian & Greg the first night.  Also Pat needs to stop calling people by their nickname not everyone knows who they are.

The streaming service is excellent but a small criticism. I'm just watching Portarlington v Portlaoise at the moment and there's an analyst Aideen? Dunne who offers absolutely nothing. Zero insight. This isn't sexism either. If it was a man I'd say the same.

The stream is very good, Camera Work is decent.  Before I would start on stats,  the commentary bar Killian Whelan is poor.  Jack Nolan painful as he is would be a far better alternative.  They are charging €6 for the stream,  that's a fair price considering NOW TV charge a €10 for a Premier League match.  Leo Turley the other night was brutal, if I wanted a coaching session with Leo I would make it my business to attend one !    At the end of the day it's year one but one way or the other this is part of the future going forward.

Said something stupid when he was drunk, not a whole pile different from any amount of GAA followers.  He apologised and removed said tweet, christ Mayo County Board are they that stupid! Maybe trawling the corners of Mayo with raffle tickets will rise them from their stupidity.  You should never look a gift horse in the mouth,  O Leary is passionate and like us all says stupid things at times.  But the treatment he gets for funding Mayo is nothing short of farcical.  Mayo = give us your money and say SFA.  Leave the GAA to the lads who would be hard pressed to put a €5 in the pot.

Not sure I'd be fully blame the Laois CB for the Setanta Prog. I think Colm brown and Ciaran muldowney were the ones who cast it to one side in the end.

Jesus that's dreadful why would Muldowney and Brown scrap it,  I thought Muldowney was a hurling man.

Healy will be in the team that finishes the league ....Mark my words

You could be right but if Timmons, Healy and Munnelly are starting, we will be heading to Div 3.  All great servants but are past their prime, they genuinely would be left for dead by reasonably decent inter county players.  You could be right that they are the best we have, but if that is the case we are in big trouble. Sugrue was in the process of changing our age profile,  a return of these lads would not be a good sign.  Again this is not a slur on any of the 3 players as they have been superstars for Laois in their day but they are not getting younger & two them would have a tough time of it with injuries.

I think at one point returning was not on the cards for both but they have changed their minds.  It's easy enough imagine New Manager, long season etc.

I think that's a fair enough assessment,  Quirke walked into it with his eyes wide open which is hard to fathom.

I agree on it's the O Byrne Cup,  but the writing is on the wall with this one.  I'll wait till the Leagues over but would not be surprised if we don't win a game.

I fear for Laois, Quirke did he do any research in to what he was getting into ? Seriously a promising coach is going to get burned here.
