Heading over on Wednesday again.

Heading myself again. I think the atmosphere will be dampened for obvious reasons which is sad. Rightly or wrongly the Green Brigade have helped bring 'the thunder' back to Celtic Park. I love it. This and the performance of the team last season brings me back to the days of the jungle. No one can deny before Lenny come in there was a much poorer atmosphere and crowds had been down. Looking forward to a more fruitful European run this year Brendan is building a good wee team. Hail hail

Was wondering about the age of most of these players and who among them have won minors and u21s.
Like was Declan McClure an U21 winner or did he miss out?
Are Harte, Mattie and McNabb the only minors who made it through to this team?

If anyone can fill in what years players won a minor or U21 that would be great below and if you know their age?
Are Sean, Colm, McCarron and Justy the only ones with senior AI medals?
It's a pity the Tyronegaa.ie website doesn't do player profiles

1 – Niall Morgan – Éadan na dTorc – 61 (18) - Did he not play underage for Tyrone?
2 – Aidan McCrory – Aireagal Chiaráin – 97 (25)

Why is there such a deliberate naming of the missile as a "buckfast bottle"?
Is it not enough to say "a bottle was thrown at a celtic player"?

Is there something sinister, more lethal in that it was not just a bottle, but 'twas "a buckfast bottle"?

Ok a glass bottle

Only for Roy Carroll that could have been 6 or 7 he had a mighty game. Celtic going rightly and should breeze through next week.

Going the season unbeaten is some feat.  Hopefully Buck gets a pay rise to fend off the EPL teams who come for him.  Wouldn't mind at all if season book prices had to go up to pay for this.

He has already signed a new contract has he not

Yeah he has.

More commanding than o Neill in the air? Seriously? Put a ball up between the two see who comes up with it. Better shot stopper? I don't think o Neill can be blamed for last year v Cavan that was a defensive nightmare for at least 2 of those goals. Morgan is deemed a better place kicker but I can remember several occasions where Morgan gifted teams scored with his kick outs i.e. Kerry two years ago Donegal few years ago mayo last year. I think o Neill is the better keeper but not by much. Either or really doesn't annoy me

Yeah straight forward surely, I hope the psni never get through the door of my Club for the time being....

I wouldn't like it either.  Ballsy move by the club. These gambles often don't see the a result for a while. When it's a hot issue many people put their heads down and don't like to talk about it but after a while the real feelings towards it can come out.
[/quo

Things too hot in this area especially the week before the 25th Anniversary of Clonoe shootings...cannot understand their thinking in in all... but decision may have been made by 1 or 2 people who misunderstood the feeling of the people....

Think it was a committee decision who decided rightly or wrongly to help out the local boxing club who are in a bit of bother financially, that's another issue, and the local area which is an area labelled an area of high deprivation. The message was sent out to all parents of the team taking part stating what was taking part  and if they were unhappy that it was ok not to participate and one parent objected.

On another note 25 years ago things were very different to the way they are today, times are a lot better more opportunities. I'm sure tothetop03 you will agree and anything which can help move our society on to a better place can only be a good thing. No one wants to go back 25 years to the carnage that that was.

http://saoradh.ie/psni-to-train-coalisland-kids-through-gaa-boxing-club-saoradh-nuacht/ any word of this?

Big statement from a grouping with no mandate. Also calling to a pensioners house at 10:30 on a cold winters night, is that not a bit intimidating. Be interesting to know how many really objected to this scheme. I know a few people were not happy when they heard about it. It certainly is a real change in circumstances considering the areas history.

What part of what they wrote did you not agree with...Out of a matter of interest...

Did I say I didn't agree with it?

Good enough...Very sensitive in any Gaa club these issues...

Sure the text message clearly states that if you are not happy to let your child go then its understandable so dont send them to it. Seems straight forward enough

The whole thing has been quietened down this last week not much talk of it. I think mostly it was misunderstood what actually was happening.

Not a bad performance tight at the back hard to break down but up front we are lacking. Need to be converting those chances last night we kicked wide or dropped short over 50% of our shots/chances same last week. Hopefully it's early enough in the season to rectify this problem as it's the same issue stopped us in the previous two all Ireland campaigns
