Exceptions:

Would have to go with
Derg
Beragh
Rock
Killeeshil

Tonights double header in Healy should be worth a trip to.

I see the reserve championship starts friday night. Whats the rules this year with the reserve championship?  How is it decided who is eligible?

http://tyronegaa.ie/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/2018-Tyrone-CCC-Regulations.pdf

14. Players who play in any of the current years' Inter-County Senior Championship is not
eligible to play in the Reserve Knock-Out.
Penalty: Offending Team eliminated from competition

15. If a player has played in his clubs' last adult championship match, in which he is eligible to
play in the previous year, he is ineligible to play in this years' Reserve Knockout even if the
clubs' last adult championship game falls outside that competition year.

Did anyone hear Garvaghy was on lockdown last night? No-one allowed in but the Senior Team.
I know an Underage Goalkeeping Coaching Camp was cancelled. All because Mickey wanted no-one there whilst training was ongoing. Worse than Donegal if this is true.
Did anyone hear about it?

That has been happening for years. Underage teams, hurling teams, ladies teams regularly get locked out of Garvaghy in the lead up to big games and told to find elsewhere to train.

Does anyone know if the fixtures for Friday 4th May are going ahead or not? Or have they been switched to the Sunday instead?

Fair play to Tyrone, didn't think they would get anything in Castlebar personally. Didn't see the game so can't comment too much although as previously mentioned, Mayo are a different side in the summer.

Still though, encouraging signs.

Highlights from the game.

Derrylaughan recorded an expected victory last night, they look like a side that will challenge.  Saying that they face Eglish/Stewartstown in the QF which will be a real test of their credentials.  Their forward line looks sharp and a defence that holds a team to 4 points in 60mins cant be bad either.  They will face tougher tests.  I haven't seen bookies odds but who are the favourites for the intermediate championship?

Did Brian Kennedy get a straight red card last night just at the end....

Yes, he got a straight red in injury time. There was an off the ball incident and the ref black carded the Castlederg number 15. But the linesman signaled to the ref and after a bit of discussion he showed both men straight reds. I believe it was for striking.
Very silly on Kennedy's part to strike deep into injury time with a 10 point lead and a place in the quarter final waiting.

Errigal and Coalisland into the league play offs, with a few teams still in the hunt to join them.
Greencastle relegated at the weekend. With both Strabane and Urney both going into the relegation play offs, will be some craic at that game.

In division 2 it's still tight at the top. Derrylaughan have a tricky away trip for their final game while Aghyaran should have enough to beat the Lough at home. Eglish also keeping the pressure on the top two.
At the other end of the table Eskra relegated at the weekend, big shock there considering it wasn't so long ago they won the Intermediate Championship and were playing Division 1 ball.
With Rock and Castlederg still to play eachother in the final game the loser will be in the play off, with most likely Cookstown as I can't see them getting anything off Eglish. Especially after the weekends poor performance.

In division 3 it looks to be all Owen Roes. Can't see them being caught at this stage. Expect them to do the double this year, so a lot of teams left fighting for second place and the automatic promotion spot.
