McGeary will be a loss but he's not an integral player in the side.

We have lots of players around that area in the pitch with not a lot between them so will open up a chance for one of them. Harry Loughran seems to be flying with Moy at the minute, hopefully he gets the chance to stake a claim next year.

He most certainly would be an integral player if tyrone lost the defensive style of play and played him in a more attacking role.

Interesting 1st post. How confident are you with your info??

But I agree, after so long of the same thing, with no attempt to change a failing system, surely the players motivation and will to win starts to wain

kieran has begun a degree over in England a few weeks ago therefore I presume that ends his county career for now. Tyrones loss is pomeroys gain :)

What's the story with gate receipts from club championship games so? Does pomeroy profit solely from the weekends semi final?
IIRC the club gets a small cut(10%!). They make the most of their money from the half time draw.
No host club receives anymore than £750 even if 10% of the gate is higher than the £750. The half time draw would usually generate in the region of £1000-1200 for a quarter/semi final.

It's the county ground, simple. Like I said, Omagh have been in county finals before and they were all (if memory serves me correctly) in Healy Park. Why would this year be any different?

Omagh Clonoe 88 final was in Dungannon
Omagh Ardboe 98 final was in Pomeroy

Omagh is one of a number of designated county grounds in Tyrone including Dungannon and Coalisland. The ground is the property of the Omagh club and the County Board have no claim on it as such.

Its a shame the CB don't use other venues for NFL or McKenna cup games any more as Omagh lacks much in the way of atmosphere.

Neutral venue would be better solution for a county final.

The County Final will be played wherever TG4 say

There has been about 10000 people at recent county finals. Can any other ground host that size of crowd  ?

Plunkett Park holds in the region of 12000 people.

It may do and the changing rooms hold about 12 !! Worst facilities for players in the county

That won't be the case in two years time.

Really disappointed not to have closed that game out this evening unfortunately our inexperience cost us in the end. 3 points up with two minutes of normal time temaining we really should have been more cynical. I've no doubt had clonoe been in our position they definitely would have closed it out by any means. People may say we've missed the boat but I don't buy that. I think we've now shown that we're a decent side and have every chance the next day out.

Nope, you've missed the boat. Clonoe by 7 next day out
Missed the boat did we.... get beat by 7 will we...... doubt not 🙂

Fair play, didn't expect that. Can they raise it again for next game, that is the big question now. If they can't, then tonight's win will soon be forgotten

Be humble, I'm sure clonoe would have fancied their chances against Errigal had they taken us out, why shouldn't we.

No doubt!!
Will Cassidy be in the stand tonight after his antics on Saturday?

Best place for him, no rearing or breeding in him!

irish news, teamtalkmag saying 6. tyrone fixtures site saying half 5

It was changed yesterday evening probably due to the fact it was beginning to get  dark towards the end of the pomeroy game and it started at 5.30.

Pomeroy will be sick after that. They were on top and couldn't finish it out. They tried to run down the clock wrong move v Clonoe, they don't quit. It was a good game from a neutral point of view. Mc Clure was the boss in second half but next day out I expect Clonoe to have laverty and co back on form. Even start mc aliskey. They

Laverty wasn't in form because he was marked out of the game by Brendy Burns.

Teamtalk reporting that there will be no fixture change for Sunday.  They mustn't think the Ladies have much of a following and it wont hurt them in the pocket.  Driver, Drive On!!!!

Genuine question. How many folk will travel to Croker to support the ladies??

200??

300??

More?? Less??

I personally dont know anyone going to it

Some people just like hearing themselves. Changing the club games on Sunday will affect a lot more people.

I agree, plough on with it... However there seems to be a lot of uproar on social media following the confirmation that there will be no change.  A lot of them people outraged probably have no intention of attending either game.
