Regarding DD Mulgrew, I hope this is not another great prospect who spends most of his development years sitting on the bench missing out on a chance to improve by playing competitive games at club level.
Not that omagh want any more of their players on the county panel but I thought conan Grugan was impressive for them on the two occasions I saw him this year

Johnny Munroe was under 21 in 2014, therefore he is one year older than all these lads you are talking about. Mc nabb, mc Namee, colly cavanagh etc didn't reach their potential until mid 20s

lads calm down. i only asked whats in the notebook and how did he get appointed you know the process. was it given to him did he apply was he interviewed etc etc. whats personal about that. has hes been given a budget for example maybe thats an account he keeps in that wee book. by the way great to see ardboe posters on hear have all got their chips of their shoulder. if you have talented young footballers dont destroy them with the ould ardboe way, bust round you win nothing and protect the ardboe tradition. 21st century is here lads.

I'd say when the Ardboe lads where in charge of youth teams they didn't enter them in lower grades to mop up just cause they couldn't win the grade they should be in!!!  ;)
Don't want to ruin your argument WT but ardboe beat my club in a grade 2 under 16 semi final in 2010 before winning the competition. The same team won the minor grade 1 in 2012

I heard Johnny Munroe from Carrickmore has been called up to the senior panel after the league final on Sunday.
Any word on anyone else getting called up?

Don't think he's strong enough or good enough for county football.
I think he is good enough

Im not from Ardboe, but benny has won a few championships with their minors so is capable. We need more men like him guiding the countys best young footballers

Benny taught you lads a few lessons in his time  ;)
Strain is staying on then. Suppose he has done better than anything else you lads have had in a long time.
