Apparently there's an ex Tyrone man over Clogher the year. Name rhymes with Big Moe. Work it out for yourselves
Heard a reliable source today say Big toe has the Clogher lads out training this week. Making a big push early in the league!
Madness

Any word of managerial appointments or what teams are looking for new men?
Clonoe, Edendork, Coalisland, Dungannon, Derrylaughan all sticking I've been told. Moy still deciding ? Not convinced of the accuracy of the latter personally, but few names have been mentioned.
Big Sean not staying on with the Moy?
Who replaced Crozier at Omagh??

Quote from: Fionntamhnach on November 20, 2018, 09:43:23 PMQuote from: GlenMan on November 20, 2018, 05:03:51 PMI'd go for option 2. I'd also add to it a few more suggestions...
Three options from CCC to go to Clubs at a meeting on Thursday night. <snip>
* Forget about calling them 1A/1B/2A/2B/3 and just call them 1/2/3/4/5.
* Automatic two-up two down promotion & relegation from each division, with an additional play-off between 8th placed team in higher division & 3rd placed team in lower division at a neutral venue.
* Other than the above interdivisional play-off, no other playoff games to be scheduled unless they are required as laid out in the GAA's Official Guide to determine final league positioning (as is currently the case) where it is needed for promotion/relegation or championship grading for the following season. The team that finishes top of the division are declared the winners.
* Failure to fulfil a league fixture shall have a team deducted two points on the first offence that season. A second or subsequent offence shall see a further three point deduction on each occasion.
* Determining the championship grade for the following season as set out, except that the 10th place team in Division 1(1A) shall play in the Intermediate championship the following season, and the 10th place team in Division 3(2A) shall play in the Junior championship the following season - an exception will be if either such team win the Senior or Intermediate championship the same season they finish 10th in their division.
* Have in each division a straight knockout league cup. Rounds are preliminary (two ties in all divisions except one tie in division 5), quarter, semi and final. All games to be played to a finish on the day i.e. extra time & free-kick shoot-out if required. Neutral venue only for each division final. Prem round ties to be played weekend before league starts or some time around that period, quarter finals played on the same weekend the Tyrone senior football team play their first game in the Ulster SFC, semis where possible be played before July holiday break.
* Introduce the new league/championship scheme in 2020, with league & championship placings determined by 2019 league & championship finishing. Note that 2019 final league positions exclude championship winners (so 15th in Divisions 1&2 are bottom and 16th in Division 3).
New Division 1 - 2019 SFC winners & 1st - 9th place in 2019 Division 1. (10)
New Division 2 - 2019 IFC winners & 10th - 14th place in 2019 Division 1 & 1st - 4th in 2019 Division 2. (10)
New Division 3 - 2019 JFC winners & 15th in 2019 Division 1 & 5th - 11th in 2019 Division 2 & 1st in 2019 Division 3. (10)
New Division 4 - 12th - 14th in 2019 Division 2 & 2nd - 8th in 2019 Division 3. (10)
New Division 5 - 15th in 2019 Division 2 & 9th - 16th in 2019 Division 3. (9)
By having the bottom placed teams in the 2019 League divisions 1 & 2 be subject to a lower division for 2020 than the teams that finish above them, it'll help teams in the 2019 league that suffer a bad start after the first few rounds still focus on not finishing bottom rather than giving up early on.
SFC 2020: 2019 SFC & IFC winners & 1st - 13th place in 2019 Division 1 & 1st in 2019 Division 2. (16)
IFC 2020: 2019 JFC winners & 14th - 15th in 2019 Division 1 & 2nd - 13th in 2019 Division 2 & 1st in 2019 Division 3. (16)
JFC 2020: 14th - 15th in 2019 Division 2 & 2nd - 16th in 2019 Division 3. (17)
Even if option 2 doesn't become the consensus, I'd still reckon the points deduction for forfeiting games and the league cup suggestion are worthy of broader consideration.

Another incident caught on camera in Dromore last night. Dromore v Dungannon minor championship trouble on sideline and in crowd......no wonder these things are happening all too frequently when nobody ever seems to get punished. And when they do a la Under 20 final the majority of people get off!

7. Cahir Goodwin; Dromore
8. Ruairi Gormley, Strabane
9. Brian Kennedy; Derrylaughan
10. Conor Shields, Clogher

15. Paul Donaghy, Edendork
No canavan, is he on the squad. And no peter og
Canavan still a minor, so as far as I know I don't think he's able to play.
He could be the same age, but Canavan has an extra year at minor. There's a rule of some kind that they can't play for the u20's while they're still minors.

Lets discuss what YOU would do if you were manager and what players YOUD play with the system you'd implement!
Here is my Team
Alternative Tyrone Team/Tactics
1. Niall Morgan - No Free Kick Duties - Still the best keeper in Tyrone
2. Mick Mc Kernan - The New Ricey
3. HP Mc Geary - Big Strong - Plays 3 for his club - Natural defender
4. Padraig Hampsey - Strong - Mean and a natural defender
5. Toss Up Between P Harte and Mc Cann - Probably Peter Harte given he is a better defender
6. Jonathan Munroe - Strong - Huge Miss to this team - Nasty - Would have developed into another gormley
7. Meyler - Exceptional Engine Has to start - needs to become a nasty bast**d
8. Colm Cavanagh - When Fit a tremendous footballer - play him as a midfielder not a sweeper - release him to get scores
9. Richard Donnelly - potential to get us a few scores and a big engine
10. Niall Sludden - Can Score and work - hard to mark
11. Mark Bradley - Best Forward in Tyrone - Fantastic Movement - Get this man on the ball in our half
12. Frank Burns - Can Kick a score - need men in the half forward line that can score and win their own ball, provide a presence - scores a lot for Pomeroy
13. Conor Mc Aliskey - will only get stronger following knee surgery
14. Mattie Donnelly - we are looking scores and presence in the full forward line - this man would give us another dimension - also wouldn't solo as much and hold play up
15. Lee Brennan - Free Kicks, would get more room if the focus was on Donnelly and Mc Alis
You would have Meyler ahead of Tiernan McCann? I will have what you are smoking..

Any reports of county injuries so far from around the clubs? Seems to be quite quiet. Mickey will be happy enough.
