They seem to be having real bother motivating themselves for matches against "lesser" teams. Unfortunately they are realising that they are actually Antrim and not Kilkenny and still need to pull the finger out in all their matches. At this stage of the year it must be a mental rather physical problem. Stories of going out on the pish doesn't exactly help.

Id totally agree with you, would do no harm to bring in a sports and spend a few sessions with the lads.

The cats in the first half were as good as Ive seen a hurling team play. Had everything. The kilkenny globetrotters! This is without a fair bit of there first team squad.
However i was disappointed with the way their forwards played in the second half, Seemed not to really care, and keep trying the tricks even when they weren't working, tipp scored 1.8 in the second half and were unlucky not to get a few more goal.

I think the score line of 5-17 to 1-12 is a bit harsh on tipp. Some of the cats goals the keeper was a bit suspect and tipp were sleeping at the start of the game. Tipps attitude coming in second half was top rate, they didn't lay down and just take it, for that they can be proud of themselves.

I think kilkenny will win the AI but i write tipp just yet.

P.S. Good to see Comerford back after a nasty injury in the AI final.

I was in oneills over in liverpool, the place starting serving at 9 in the morning. by 10 when I arrived there was a queue to get in! not one bit of trouble all day or night!

The presence of the riot police looked to be overkill and as lads have said drew in crowd. A uniformed police presence may have worked better.
However if that was my car smashed up I'd be absolutely ripping, what a bollock of an insurance form that'll be to fill in.
The fella giving the finger to the camera should be made example off and placed in stocks and flogged, as the eejit throwing stuff at the cops.

But the trouble at paddys day is a results of our binge drinking culture, fellas getting drunk for getting drunksake. Getting drunk to forget

I was there 2 years ago....Was bunged by 8.30 in the morning and not a bit of trouble all day long!!

Think i was drunk then sober then drunk again about 3 times that day!!

Prob ran into ya there then. Unreal craic, savage spot :D

Tommy murphy makes a lovely hurl, think hes wexford.
Star hurls of kilkenny are nice too.
o'brien of tipp make a nice striking hurling.
O'connors of cork are great, inly if you get a good one, woeful if you dont get a good one.
Scuillon of antrim arent bad, but can a bit hit and miss.

But saying all that. If you can to know the fella making the hurls your sorted, otherwise you could end up with old thing.

I get my mate to get me tommy murphy sticks, they know eachother so the sticks are top rate.

aye i heard a bit of that on the radio myself...It's bad when these things happen and i believe these f**kers should pay the price for their crimes and afterwards sent back to their own country. Can you imagine what would happen to any of us who committed a crime like that in a foreign country...Jesus Christ you'd be hung up by the neck. Ireland and the UK are too lenient and the law needs revised...Again if that had a happened 10-15 years ago them scum bags would be found in a black bin bag down the Navan Road somewhere but unfortunately the peace process took away some of our own justice system if you know what i mean...

I was thinking the same thing Illdecide, tis not to late for real justice to take place.
