Any predictions from the hurling folk in Armagh or are Keady still the superior side?

Trying to edge in among these footballs, anyone got any predictions on the Armagh Hurling Championship? Can Keady comeback from last years disappointment or are Middletown just too strong?

When will the Umpires start doing their duty and penalise Donal Og for his constant breaking of the square on puck outs ?

I agree with Spirit about the effect that this competiton is having on club hurling as Armagh players have been forbidden from playing with their clubs from the 10 June until they are out.Players who are not first fifteen should surely be allowed to play with their clubs and get game time.Joe Kernans ideas have influenced the hurling management, hurlers need to hurl. Armagh have the ability to win this competition but they will have to find other scoring forwards, an over reliance on Coulter could be their downfall.

After watching Cross on Sunday night, is there realistically anyone in Armagh who can take them? Anyone with a chance of stopping them in the future.

Any results from the weekend? Hard to get results or tables or is there any games being played at all. When are the knock outs starting?

Armagh / Re: The Harps Thread - Championship Defeat

Thought the Harps missed too many chances, the high ball into young Kelly seemed to be the way to go but they didn't use it enough. The Harps had to work far harder for their frees. The Cross No. 12 Murtagh should have been sent off for blatant punch in the second half which led to the scuffle. They should have changed their free taker, too many misses, I thought Quigley was their free taker. It will take a lot to shift Cross. Hard Luck Harps !

At last a proper game of football, first class stuff. The Meath place kicker that came on in the second half had balls of steel. Good to see someone been able to kick 50's, Armagh could be doing with one.

When is the next round of the Senior Championship scheduled to take place? Surely they can get another round or two in before Armagh play again.

Any word form the Ulster Hurling League this weekend, finding it hard to get any recent results or any League tables?

Anyone make the journey to Wicklow? Another big loss, was there any positives in the game.Battled bravely last week against Laois but as the game went on the pace and class of their forwards came to the fore. Was it similiar yesterday?

What way is Paul Grimley getting on in Cavan? Armagh will soon realise they made the biggest mistake of all time by allowing him to go. The main man behind Armaghs success.

Of course it will be a big step up this year in Div 2. Maybe having been too long in Div 3 has done a lot of harm. The present management team succeeded where many had failed before and it will take team to consolidate themselves.Nicky Rackard Cup is a very real possibility.
