Louth, Leitrim and Wexford all going well, however I firmly believe we are more talented whether this translates on the field is the question.

If these Tommy Murphy cup mark 2  proposals go through. It's imperative the team get out of division 4 this year for the good of antrim football. Also any confirmation of league start dates  or fixtures? rumour is 5th march.

Really looking forward to the league campaign, it seems there will be serious competition for places which is not often the case. One thing I will say is we need a freetaker who is deadly accurate as this is often an essential requirement in promotion.

Sarsfields are looking to change the league for self-preservation and as a result haven't really put proper planning into their proposal; Antrim clubs would definitely object to playing games without their county contingent as *starred* games are alien to the Antrim club scene. 10-12-12 may work better. As a division 3 player I do not mind either way if the proposal passes, as I feel playing the better teams improves standards as a whole. Contrary to popular belief, division 3 bar Aghagallon was quite competitive before the split.

I do like the idea of aligning the leagues with championship and the 12-12-10 would work better in that instance

The modern day plight of the dual club could be the Johnnies downfall as quite a few of the team's leaders are successful in both codes which may hinder their progress for senior football glory. Although that said their two best young players McBride (out of u21) and Fitzpatrick are both football only.

Smacks of musical Chairs. Murray hasn't done much to develop Antrim in his chairmanship, just look at the state of the county teams and I cant see him being a success in the development role. What experience has he say of nurturing development at club level? I cant remember him helping out with any of the recent successful underage Johnnies teams? or any worthwhile endeavours into the Macs beforehand. That was his previous club?

Scotstown must be favourites for Ulster as the winner of Cross-Kilcoo are likely to have several casualties for the final via suspensions or injuries. Trillick will also have a say in matters with their never say die attitude but I did hear they were very fortunate against Glenties

The game will need a strong referee, I felt Joe Mc Quillan was very kind to cross against Cargin which helped dig them out of the hole they were in first half. Match ups will be important if Kilcoo break even at midfield they will win as they will use the ball better than Cargin did. will Cross leave Rico Kelly in the middle? Will be interesting to see at what stage do the Cross Management spring Jamie at.

Any thoughts on Cross V Kilcoo? I hear Jamie Clarke will play some part. This is going to be an absolute cracker would love if it was a dry day, very unlikely though.

Why didn't he name the culprit then?

Cavan people ganging up. Suppose, it must be only natural to them.

They'd be safer sticking their county team into the Ulster club

Allegedly. It hasnt been proven... Cargin should focus more on themselves and why they were beat instead of crying to the media. Their hesitancy cost them the game. I called Cross a credit because of the player turnover they've had yet every year they re competing in Ulster. Also I am open to correction but they are always managed by a Cross man?
