Next Tuesday night,Kellys Inn will see the launch  of the Tyrone strategy Raising The Red Hand , commencing at 8pm  , the meeting  will also have uachtaranNickey Brennan in attendance , and with Mark Conway in charge of drafting this strategy it should be an interesting meeting. The meeting however is restricted to those who are chairman and club secretary for their  clubs, but no doubt both uachtaran and Mark Conway will have an intersting discussion about the current grants  issue during the course of the nights  events.

While on the topic,  should that talented footballerMichael murphy have merited selection on the all star team,Galbally were eliminated in the first  round of the championship byDromore ,and did not  sparkle in the all county league  and yet some journalist  , or online voting  scheme sees him on this team . The next thing some  person will think that he is once again worthy of a county recall ,but after the debacle regarding this  team selection nothing would surprise me .

Midnight Caller , the word you are looking for is honours , not honors but since your club did not win any awards this season except the Brookeborough  tournament , you  did not have any reason  to use this word .    Your rantings  about Coalisland to win the Ulster  club ,   about Dromore  will not be regarded as the best team in Tyrone until they beat 1 of the  alleged  big 2 in Tyrone football ,  and that it was easiest championship ever won   and that you hoped that Coalisland would win the championship , I would like to remind you who are the current double winners, who have won 4 of the last 5 leagues . the answer though it must pain you is Dromore .

Beragh are poised to object  about the eligibility of the Tattyreagh reserve team, that  defeated them 1.8 to 1.3, in the reserve league yesterday ,  about including players on their 15,  who were on the designated   list of 12 ,who cannot play in the reserve league .Both teams are in contention for this league title  so an interesting end  to the season still awaits.

Must have been a strong online polll in Killyclogher , Martin Swift fullback of the season , a season which saw them defeated in the championship quarter final  and struggle to  maintain their position  in division 1  an amazing selection .
