As SonOfTheDesert (good Red that he is) on the Guardian's website put it, "four weeks in which he can threaten to buy a string of fine players, then announce five minutes before the window closes that he's signed Tony Hibbert for £30m".
After being told the week before they could have him for 5 million.....

Some diving about today again. Poor outfit

Worst team by miles in the EPL for it.
Moyes hasn't the same power over Webb as Slur Fergie did.

Talk that Fabio Coentrao has been signed. That would be a quality signing.

EC Unique will be on soon to tell us Coentrao is the greatest player ever.

As i said before, keep him away from the press conferences.

When in Liverpool.... smoke crack like everyone else! :/

Looks like we have a early contender for most pointless post of 2013!!

I thought there was some bus parking going on the other night from United.
It stood out because it's not something you often see or expect to see from United.
It may not have been the double decker express bus from Galway to Dublin but there was a touch of the 24 seater mini bingo bus being played by United.
No harm in it either as they got the result they wanted.

I think its funny the way Man United fans are saying Irish people who support Chelsea are only following them because they became successful >:(
FFS they wouldn't be Man Utd fans themselves today if they hadn't started winning again back in the early 90's.

Surely the majority of Irish people who follow English clubs do so because they are successful? Liverpool in the 70s/80s, United and Arsenal in the 90s/00s, Chelsea in 00s etc.

Unless they have some sort of connection with the team, parent supporting them or whatever, children are more likely to follow whoever is successful at the time
Well that's my point!
But its only the Man United fans who are saying it about the Chelsea fans on here so that's why I said Man United.
You would think they were all born outside Old Trafford the way they are talking.

Zaha deal done. Now to make a move for Celtic's Wanyama and it will be a good window. :)

Is Wanyama really of the standard United need, genuine question havent seen enough him outside if the few champions leagues games for Celtic.

Thinking the same earlier today myself.  Haven't seen him play but heard he is a strong, athletic midfielder.  How good is he, what type of player is he and how accurate is what I heard?

He's been outstanding in the CL against the biggest and best teams in Europe, has the potential to be world class

Will be interesting to see where the bidding starts after United have just paid £15m for someone who's never played outside the English 2nd tier.

He wont be leaving in January but could see him going to United in the summer

Going by what I have read 10-12million should pick him up. You have got to remember that the SPL is probably on a similar level to the English second tier.

Cold many 2nd tier teams in England qualify out of a champions league group or beat Barcelona? You haven't a clue.

You have him sussed! Never a more true word spoken on here. ;D

Man United fast becoming a one man team.
Only for Slur Fergie spending big they would be nowhere near the top 2,as it is I think RVP will win the league for them this year.
Oh but United don't buy titles we were told  :D
