Tyrone GAA's statement smacks of what we all knew the County Board didn't want the embarrassment of having a banned team win the championship, the sending off was ridiculous the Rock committed similar offences and they went unpunished and ultimately turned the game on its head, we were fouled twice in the corner and the resulting turnover ended up in the net. Ciaran Gourley persistently fouled and was only carded 50 minutes in, Eugene McConnell witnessed a Rock player elbow one of our players last week and he only received a yellow yet this week a less nasty offence earned a red card. Yes we missed chances but the sending off completely changed the dynamic of the game.

The powers that be made sure the Rock won, our spineless County Board didn't fight our cause in 2011 and they certainly weren't going to start now Eugene McConnell is a disgrace of a man says a lot about the County when he is our coaching officer. Tyrone GAA you are a obviously a County Board cnut spouting that shite which just reinforces what we in Derrytresk already know!

What was the marquee erected at the Rock Field at the weekend for?

Any truth that the Rock are appealing Martin McCreesh's suspension all the way to the CHC at Croke Park and that they are prepared to take the matter to the DRA?

Carmen were very unlucky on Sunday, I would pay little heed to what some local hack has written after all they have to find something to fill the column inches. I think to be honest they have a lot of positives to take from Sundays defeat and that will hopefully drive their young players to want to go one step further next year. I was particularly impressed with McLaughlin and Loughran in the half back line, couldn't understand why McAleer was withdrawn I thought he was playing well.

Castlederg are a limited team they have 4/5 decent players the Rock have more quality and experience than them or indeed many teams in junior. The Rock are a far more efficient team than Derrytresk who again squandered multiple chances to win yesterdays game. Some intriguing games in the championship next weekend, the Rock will easily dispose of Killyman whose best days are behind them, Owen Roes and Dregish will be a close affair I fancy and up an coming Owen Roes to prevail though. Clann na Gael minus Stephen O'Neill should still have enough nous to beat Castlederg although the Derg will fancy their chances having shaded the earlier league game. Errigal Ciaran 111 are an unknown quantity given the constant flux with their squad, the fact that they are now a permanent feature in Junior Football would suggest that there is room for a second club in that Parish. What is peculiar is the fact that Errigal 111 have played substantially less games than every other team in the league are games that don't go ahead not supposed to be replayed within 7 days?

Delia is unfairly getting the flak the players seem to have put in a poor shift,  Delia needs time to impose his stamp on the team (unfortunately that is not a commodity he will have at Parkhead) I just hope he's a bit more clued in than Tony Mowbray who promised to pay attacking football at Celtic and failed. Its all about getting results at Celtic sometimes playing pretty football does not bring you those results.

The SPL is such a terrible league and we should still win the league regardless, not having CL football would be a huge blow financially and for the supporters especially at a time when morale is low I Scottish Football although I would still Delia a chance even if the team fail to reach the CL. Gordon Strachan and Neil Lennon failed to negotiate the CL qualifiers in their first season yet both turned out to b e decent managers.

I hope we can muster a 3 nil result next week although knowing this team they will concede a goal its not impossible remember last year http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23776602.

The glut of money that clubs not even a quarter of the size of Celtic have in England is ridiculous big clubs such as Celtic, Ajax, Feyenoord, Club Brugge, Anderlecht can not compete with the Stoke Cities of this world. The Governing bodies have allowed this to happen, a game dictated by money says it all when a player publicly whinges about his club forgetting his birthday.

NTS do it again. 1-8 to 0-4 down in the second half. Came back to win 1-9 to 1-8. Hill relegated.
if NTS deserved to go up are you implying Derrytresk deserved to be relegated? The goal came from a lucky break had they not got the goal they would never have won the game, I think the choice of venue was poor, the referee was poor and the advantage is with the team who have been playing for the past four weeks while we have been sitting inactive. Division three football will be tough in 2014, the Rock, Clogher, Fintona and Brocagh will fancy their chances along with others like Tattyreagh and Owen Roes who could be dark horses.

Did anyone venture to Killyclogher today Newtownstewart seem to be a stubborn outfit clawed their way back two games in a row and managed to stave off a Clogher comeback today.

Teamtalkmag provide great coverage no other County has anything that compares! I would say the selection process for the all star awards is flawed, its as simple as get enough people to vote for you and hey presto your an All Star. If you asked a couple of stalwarts from each club you may get a fairer team. In any event there will always be someone who has their nose knocked out of joint and its impossible to please everyone.

Derrylaughan and Maghery, Derrytresk/Killyman and Clonmore aren't too far apart.

Strabane into senior football next season great for north Tyrone GAA

Delighted for Strabane and it's a boost for football up here, and gives the rest of us something to aim for.

I was really surprised by how subdued Trillick were today. They never really got going at all. I was also surprised by the fact it took them 40 minutes to switch markers onto Mark Devine who was excellent in the first half for Sigersons. Plenty of pace and trickery, and his ability to find space gave Strabane an out ball into the final third. If Devine had of been stopped it would've really gave Strabane very little else to work with in that their system was geared to defend deep and in numbers.

Michael Etherson had a good game for Strabane too. First time I seen him play, and he's big, strong and fast.

Delighted for Palor McNulty, and I think it's his 4th promotion. He took Beragh and Urney to Senior football, and Owen Roes to Intermediate. He's a gentleman, and a very good man manager.
What club is Palor's home club, not a bad managerial record at all, was he ever your manager Norf? I'm not shocked by this result Strabane are very well organised very fit and disciplined. You got to feel for Trillick as a footballer there can surely be no worse feeling than getting relegated.
