Who are the 2 best forwards? What's our championship team then weasel in your opinion?

Glad to see Mcivor giving these men a shot. With 14 new starters, we are bound to get a dcecent performance from at least 4 or 5. Wouldn't have made that many changes but sure will be good to get a good look at our squad.

Is it 20 games of football and 20 of hurling or is it 20 combined?

Congratulations to Cavan on getting to a 5th Ulster u21 final in a row. The future is most definitely Red and White, Doire abú   ;) ;D ::)

Very excited about this deal. Can't wait to see the quality of the coverage SS can provide. Hopefully it will benchmark the standards for other TV coverage in Ireland. Enough of people complaining about paying, go to the match or got to the pub or a friends house if you don't already have Sky!

From a Derry perspective, would like to see this team:
McNicholl
Mckinless Mckaige McBride
SL Mc.   OKane       Johnson
Patsy Lynch
Mcfaul   Kielt   Lynn
Oboyle  Bell   McGoldrick

Kept the defence the same as they were brilliant at the weekend and will be a tough forward line of mayos to defend against. Took Lynch out to MF which will give a space for Kielt to have another chance in CHF, kept the pace and creativity of the other HFs. Give heron a rest and start mcgoldrick in the corner, looked lively against Kildare when he came on. Ryan Bell into FF, think he has the attributes to be a brilliant FF, big and strong, great hands and a lighting shot. also wasn't very impressed by Mcguckin at the weekend. What other fringe players do we have in our panel? Mcatamney? Charlie Kielt? McAlynn?

At this age group at u16s, slaughtneil best Bellaghy by a few points in the final, I hear Bellaghys got a few men from greenlough as they don't have a minor team this year. Wide open

I'd say your off a year or two on some there tickle, patsy wouldn't be 30? I think GOK is 28 and doubt Lynn would be 27? Anyway if you throw in McGuckin and Bell who would start, 22 and 20, then that would bring it down.

Derry also have a pretty young team, but sure who hasn't these days?

Here's anther one for you's boys, what's to stop someone from picking up the ball, getting the team to huddle around him and gradually move up the pitch towards the net where a small opening would be created for the player to kick the ball into the net. Fully legal in my eyes...  ::)

Derry also have Ryan Bell who is brilliant, the glen and slaugtneil minors from the last few years and a few from the st pats team. Hopefully we can make these players work well together because we have some top players there.

With the under 21 football championship due to start, what can you expect from counties this year? I'm from derry and realistically I think derry should be challenging. Tyrone are due to be strong as well as Cavan. Any team news/stats/panels/interviews with regards to this competition?

Good game which both sides can take plenty of positives from, good comeback from 7 points down. Would have taken a draw but gutted we couldn't get that win which would help us to safety. The doc dominated midfield and some fine performances from SL, Gerard OKane and Mckaige. Enough of these Tyrone boyos whinging about the ref, he had an iffy enough game for both sides but remember, it is Joe Mcquillan... Tyrone have some big players to come back to their team but not the 7-8 that some are claiming will start in the championship. Derry have Bradley, the ballinderry outfit(nevin, bell, mckinless, devlins, wilkinson,) PJ, skinner and mcgoldrick all to come back, of which I'd be expecting at least 5/6 to start come championship time. I have to say don't think Tyrone will be far away!(hopefully very far but haha!) All in all, a very good game played on good spirit in difficult conditions! If the games are to be like this all summer well I can't bludy wait! Great night for both young teams to get experience. Doire Abú
