No Michael McCann, Tony Scullion, Andy McClean or Paddy Cunningham? You have been away for a while.

*I'm not saying I'd have all of the above.

What's your version?

Kerr

P Gallagher
R Johnston
K O'Boyle

S Kelly
A McLean
J Loughrey

K McGourty
A Gallagher

M McCann
K Niblock
C Kelly

C McGourty
M Magill
T McCann

Fir Ionaid

Other Gallagher from Glenavy, C Brady, T Scullion, Murray, B Neeson, P Cunningham PLC.

That half back line would be the best in Ulster.

Sean Kelly? I wish. I do think he is one of the best players in Ulster, but always played better for St Galls than Antrim. But you can't pick him, he's quit, or do you know something I don't? I think Crozier instead of McClean would be a better half back line

Speaking of St Johns, I see 2 men were charged over the fire at their club last year.

Looks like Mark McHugh is out for Kilcar on Sunday, that'll be a big miss for them. Still think they'll win but it will be tight. Omagh to just get by Scotstown

Where did they get their original translations from? Google Translate? feckin hell, that's possibly the worst article I've ever seen

If you win that championship, as far as I am aware you do not have a choice. You have to play the grade above the following year.

Oh right, I assumed that it was maybe the same as the Junior championship. I think it's better that they go up, teams should give it a go at least and see how they get on. It will give them a bit of experience at least

Might it be an old RoI soccer shirt??

If it has short sleeves it would put me in mind of a soccer jersey.  Don't remember GAA shirts with short sleeve until the mid 80's.

It does look very much like it could be a RoI soccer jersey, the crest is the exact same and the watermark says irelandsoccershirts.com (which I guess irelandshirts is from)

I saw the dubs v kerry wearing short sleeved shirts in the late 1970s i think. The materiel is very fine on the shirt and doesent remind me of the old gaa shirts designed to last a 1000 washes and nuclear winters!!

The water mark is just from my website.

By any chance does it have a number 12 on it?

Yes it has no 12 on the back of it

No luck on that other site then
closest i have gotten is an image of Baltinglass Gaa wearing a shirt with the same crest tbh.
Yeah, but they don't have the stripes going down it. Good luck with your search anyway

No luck on that other site then, with a number 12 I'd nearly assume that its a gaa top, not that it rules out soccer though

Have you tried taking the image and dragging it into a google image search?

Crest kinda looks like Kilrush shamrocks in clare, only a guess though. Closest match I could find

Ballinderry, Loughgiel, Ballyhale, Newry? Ballyhale has only one big shamrock, the other 3 have 3 or 4 shamrocks

The Sinn Fein Culture Minister was there on Saturday night too. She comes across as more interested in Glasgow Celtic than her own parish club (Patrick Pearses in Northern Belfast).

Maybe thats why the kids put on a wee soccer display for her and Peter and Marty at half time.

PS. I going to start using the term Northern Belfast to please the poor downtrodden unionists.

PPS. If I'd been in charge of the grounds on Saturday night I would have had the soccer playing kids frog marched out of the ground.

Was it actually a soccer match or was it just them not using their hands?

I remember just before Croke Park had its first soccer game, they had a half time gaelic match during a game(can't mind which one, may have been all ireland club final) and they played with a bunch of kids from other countries, none of them knew how to play so they just played soccer for the most part

Antrim
Sligo
Wexford
Roscommon
Tipperary
Cavan
Longford
Offaly

I originally only had one of Sligo and Antrim going up but I changed it because I've grown fond of Sligo and couldn't bare to be apart from them
