Omagh V Aghyaran

Good game of football well worth the £3 entrance fee!

£3?? No reserve game, or how did they come up with that entry fee? ?  ??? 8) ???

Hmmmmm....
Couple of results today look a bit dodgy. Killyclogher and Loughmacrory both draw and Aghyaran win by a point??

Can't speak for the other result, but was at killyclogher today and they apparently asked for points beforehand but were quickly told Clonoe didn't make the trip so early on a Sunday for the craic of it. However training has ended for the year so it was just left that however turned up would get a game. A few players had to play two games. Both teams went for it, plenty of niggle. But Mickey Hughes managed to award to late 21yd frees to killclogher to leave it a draw. Don't think that was any good to killyclogher.

The very best wishes to brocagh tonight. Bring home the cup lads. You have the full support of the parish and dare I say the whole of east tyrone.

Local GAA Discussion / Re: Best Club Rivalries in the GAA

Everyone is gonna say their own club is the biggest. This past while in tyrone their trying to schedule all derby games at the same time to suit county team in terms of injuries/suspensions. Also meant you missed quite a few tasty rows. On a side note, ourselves and coalisland fianna aren't exactly best friends, and now that we're both back challenging at the top it aint expected to get any better!

can anyone confirm what sanctions, fines or whatever a club gets for failing to field next weekend. Seems a bit ludicrous to ask people to pay into matches where there are one or two token teams lined out to avoid being punished.

I think it's £50 as long as you tell them.
cheers orangeman. So in reality it would be cheaper to stop paying and get rid of a manager (if there were such thing as paid managers :D).

fair due's to cross. Great team, finally lost a game doesn't mean they're gone. Surely they'll be ragin hot favourites this time next year in armagh, refreshed and remotivated. On a side note i absolutely adore going to ulster club games in cross and pints afterwards. Gonna miss it this year. :(

Carrickmore & Ardboe also need the points to remain in the top 4. However, it is unlikely that they would both lose their last 2 league games. Clonoe are 4 points behind them and 1 point behind Omagh.

Are Clonoe putting a big push in to get into the top 4?
think management are trying to encourage a big push, but most players not in championship at this time of year would prefer the year to end anytime. Also a few players due home from states so god only knows
