From what I hear, Mark Lynch was brilliant for J'town. Roving between midfield and the forward line.

Wouldn't be hard to wind them up, considering their preciousness regarding Tyrone players.

Has to be Sean Cavanagh by the way. Will referees ever catch onto him??

Another question for you Tyrone men - which of your players will receive the most red cards this term? Seems like Kevin Hughes is on a one-man crusade to beat Stephen O'Neill's record from a few years ago - was it 4 reds in the one NFL campaign? Not a dirty player though :D

Why is this still 'ongoing'?

Surely they should strip Tyrone off their "title", and leave it at that.

This time, there is no choice - the unis are out and they've not played for them in this competition so can't see any rule-breaking.
It shouldn't matter if the Unis are out - it is still the same competition!

The basic point in all this is that Mickey Harte wants to show that he can do whatever he wants - all the time. That's what this is about. Harte has to be right all the time. This was vindicated by his post-match interview on Saturday night. His main concern was going on about how Kevin Hughes shouldn't have received a second yellow card and it should be rescinded immediately. I hope the Ulster Council were watching and called an emergency meeting to sort this out for Mickey!! By the way, if you trip someone from behind with no eyes on the ball, what else could it have been other than a yellow card??

Surely if Tyrone were deducted points for playing certain players in a previous round of the competition, a similar punishment should be issued for this game i.e. the McKenna Cup stripped off them. Was Harte oblivious to the Ulster Council's stance a few weeks ago? Is he and Tyrone above the law? Does Harte get to do what he wants all the time?

As tayto says there - a game in which the object is to kick the ball out of play is a nonsense. Then they throw the ball back in and the opposition team kick it out. And so it continues until the ball is back on the field and about 10 men fall in a heap!

Each to their own and all that, but I personally don't see the attraction in it.

The dummy Ray McCarron scored was against Derry in the Ulster Championship.

Are you sure that dummy wasn't in the (drawn) match against Cavan in 1993? The famous game v Derry at Castleblayney was in 1992.

Yeah, my mistake. £13 a month it is.

Ogra Colmcille is Drummullan (formerly Littlebridge). I think Ardmore is just outside Derry City.

What about Coagh? Fr Rocks (Cookstown), Ballinderry, Ogra Colmcille or Moneymore??

Derry
Ballyronan - Loup Parish
Tobermore - maybe 'Screen, possibly Glen
Draperstown - Ballinascreen
Portrush/Portstewart - not sure about these two, maybe people from here would play for Coleraine or Magilligan/Limavady
Maghera - Glen
Moneymore - Moneymore

Have many of you subscribed to Setanta Sports TV channel? I was thinking of getting it in with the new football season about to start. I know they are showing a few live NFL games - was just wondering if its worth the £11 a month.

Maybe I do have the memory of a goldfish, but can someone please name me the 8 KEY men Tyrone had missing last year?

I agree that Tyrone people are optimistic about their chances - but they have every right to be I suppose, considering what they've done over the past 4 years. Last year proved though that they can be beaten (missing Canavan etc. and he won't be back), so I won't pin them down as my favourites this year until I see them produce some sort of Championship winning form. Something (as people have rightly said) they have been woefully short of since Sept '05.
