well whatever about the standard of the first match, the standard of Aprés Match there was brutal...  it needs to seriously improve starting later this evening...

Thought it was a good show today. I like Maloneys style.

What about the three personalised England jerseys for the panel.!!

All entries cleaned up a bit

under the bar, I stuck another draw between Netherlands and Slovakia, you listed 1 draw there are 2 games

Tony Baloney, I have removed 1 draw between Greece and England

RGUO8 I can't work out how to fix your entry

take your points you have listed Germany as the winner of the Italy Paraguay game.

Very funny!!. You havent even had a wee jibe at him for it.. Very professional!!

IMO it's a bigger achievement to survive another year in Div 1 than it was to get promoted.

Definitely. Id even go a step further. When some of the older players look back on their footballing days yesterday could rank as one of the sweetest. It does with me anyway. For the 4th smallest population on this isle (according to yesterdays programme) to retain Division 1 status is some achievement. Not saying its the limit for this team and yes, yesterdays game could have been a hammering but credit where its due. Well done to all.

Severely pissed off that i had to miss the "blow out" last night too. Id say theres a few sore heads today. Anyway, great weekend and i cant wait for another year at the top table. If only we could slip in a wee ulster title between now and then........

Cant wait for this one.. And i know everyone would prefer it to be a Saturday night affair, (starting to head to monagahan round half 4 on sunday doesn't sound appealing) but.. lets say it was Saturday night and we lost... then it would kinda ruin the Saturday night in Killarney so.... leave it to the sunday get the 2 nights on the beer (full of the optimism that we are going to win of course) and leave it all to sunday!!! Up monaghan!!!

Also notice now that a lot of people don't take off their caps for the anthem which is the protocol.

Nothing as silly as those who take off their caps and dont sing. I'm a cap wearing anthem singer, which i think is better than the previous. Taking off a hat is used by many as a get out clause for showing respect. Go and bloody learn the thing and then we can all leave our hats alone! (great rendition in Parnell the other night, got the blood going).

Good to see Banty sticking with big Frank in the middle. Big Frank got roasted in the engine room last Sunday I thought but it's good to see him getting plenty of opportunity.

Your logic is baffling.

The ref just blew too many frees - blew for a square ball,

Still not a square ball for dead ball situations?? That was my understanding. Think it was from a free too.

the fact that nearly every war was fought over Religion and the fact that people are today killing in the name of one God or another, what do people think of Religion in the world?

Keeps the poulation down.!

To what extent does a constant wind make a stadium redundant.?  First time in Salthill yesterday. Aesthetically pleasing, fine big comfortable stand, great terrace behind the "bay" goals but holy god that wind turns any match into a cricket match. Put the other team into bat, damage limitation for the first half and try and beat their score after tea!! Wouldn`t fancy it being my home ground.!

As someone pointed out, a few years back the digger, tractor and trailer would have been worth a good few pound without have them to burn them out on the spot.

I wonder if a few builders/plant hire places have received a few quid in cash and an insurance claim for the "use" of their "stolen" plant*

* - disclaimer, pure idel speculation but makes for good reading  :o

It really does!!
