Lol, you obviously only read the pieces you want.  Suarez will be found innocent in a court of law.

Can't wait to see a foreigner get justice in a British court of law ;D

Yeah but the point is, it has not finished. In the event the teams are tied when the league finishes, it get decicided by goal difference etc... Last time I checked it hasn't finished, so they are joint top. Some stupid cnuts on this board.
Most definitely a glass half full advocate then ;D

United are joint top on New Year's Day despite an injury crisis.

The only team matching their stride has spent £200m in transfer fees in two years.

Again, I'd like to think that you attain perfection in everything you do, if this isn't good enough for you.

No their not they are second. Why can people not see this? if the league finished today at 1pm they would be runners up.

That was last season. As one Roy Keane used to say 'once the last ball has been kicked it is on to what can be won next season'. The current squad clearly not good enough to win the title this season

Everymanaman, as said before, you must live a life of impeccably high standards, if you genuinely believe that Fergie's recent seasons have not been good enough.

The most bizarre thing of all is that the only reason the likes of you can have such expectations from United is Alex Ferguson. Before he arrived, being in touching distance of top spot at Christmas was a pipe dream.

Au contraire- I have been attending matches at Old Trafford since the late seventies. Every dog has its day and no-one benefits from keeping harping back to better days gone by (as many scousers continue to allude to their 5 European cups). Let's live in the present for once and the fact is that Ferguson's methods and stubborn attitude are as outdated as the betamax video players which were the rage when he started out in management.

IMO United would have won more Champions leagues if they didn't come face to face with the best club side of all time & like i said before some won't realise how good Fergie is/was until he's gone.
I take your point all right but no-one really remembers who were the 2nd best team. Ferguson has a had a great career and the English history books bear testament to this. That's all in the past though and the present squad is nowhere near good enough. The old goat is too stubborn to grasp the nettle and sign the players necessary to win in England never mind Europe

Rooney 'knocks and strains' my arse-dropped for taking beer on Boxing Day and getting found out. Silly boy. Doesn't change the situation of Fergie being a dinosaur. 3 more years. Heaven help us.

I hope you're on the wind up.

United have been in 3 of the last 4 Champions League finals. If this makes Ferguson a dinosaur, then you must be a resounding success at everything you do in this world.
How many of those did they win?- One and that in a penalty shoot-out. As far behind Barcelona as a donkey in a derby. Time stands still for no man. It was good while it lasted but it's time to bite the bullet.

Typically arrogant attitude of Ferguson- Carrick at the back, Valencia at right back-Rafael and Park in central midfield. It's only Blackburn is his thinking. Backfiring big-time. Not the first time this has happened

Thats all they have available you f**king tool!!....Rooney has some "Knocks and strains"

Why the personal abuse? Can you not offer a retort without abuse?

What does one expect from a pig only a grunt?

Think Bellamy and Downing out wide will help Carroll's game although it's tough on Maxi.  Newcastle very strong in the middle so hopefully Spearing can get in about them.  Adam would need to improve his game as Stevie G is near ready to go.
Will take a draw tonight if I'm been honest, would be great if Big Andy could score one or two.
Sacre bleu-taking a draw at home to the might of Newcastle-talk about setting your sights low

Have no problem with the FA handing out a ban for gestures if only they were actually consistent with them. Which they aren't. Happens up and down the land every weekend but 95% of them are ignored.

Have trawled the stats boards but can't find that statistic anywhere. Where does the 95% figure come from or is it a generalisation on your part?

What is it with visiting goalkeepers at Anfield?

I would love to be a goalkeeper going to play at Anfield. Even though I've never played in goal in my life I would probably have a stormer.

Seriously though the list of visiting goalkeepers who have been man of the match at Anfield this season is getting long. Hart, Vorm, Ruddy, Bunn. Granted in those matches they all pulled off a string of incredible saves but they are still being given the opportunity to make those saves. Finish better and they shouldn't even get the chance.

A veritable who's who of the goalkeeping fraternity in the Premier League
