Young lad Shaun O'Neill at the mo could be brill. He's aged 20 or 21 and just as down to earth. He shoots on sight and no messing. When Stephen O'Neill won his 1st All-Star, he was then about 12 or 13.

PS I meant when Stephen won his 1st, then Shaun was 12 or 13. Like back then, there are some outstanding youth still to come through in Tyrone. Mickey Harte could easily win a 3rd one this year. Down 1960/61 were 'finished' in the mid-sixties and they came back in 1968.

sad to say it - but the current tyrone team is finished.
they have no scoring forward with canavan gone, oneill gone and mulligan failing to capture form.
it is the end of an era in my opinion.

Haven't heard this advertised recently when it should be. NFL is a great tournament.

Credit where credit is due.  UTV showed highlights of the match on the 10.30 news bullettin

For one night only. Not a sausage of coverage from Omagh of the other semi on Weds. There was footage from nearby Dungannon with the Swifts dispatching  Limavady from the Irish Cup. Adrian Logan of all people doing the voiceover.

It's hard to imagine that the Laois minor team who fought toe-to-toe with Tyrone 1996-99 haven't brought Sam Maguire to their home.

Fair play Tómas. There was a great picture in the Sunday Independent sports section b4 Christmas of Eoin Brosnan's wedding. The Gooch and Pat O'Shea were at the end of the guard of honour beside the camera.

What's the record of the winners like in this comp? I know Glenullin proved it's good one to win by going on to win the Derry championship.

Who are these An Dún crowd? Are they another university team? I've been following GAA for over 10 years and never heard of them. :D

Cooper to miss National League - Handy game for Tyrone...

But he plans to return home in time for the Kingdom's opening defence of their Munster title against either Waterford or Clare in June.

Hardly much point in him coming home for a Munster game against either Waterford or Clare now. Tell him he's ok for another few weeks after that.
