I tried to got the following message.  Though it was very amusing.

You can't report your own post to the moderator, that doesn't make sense!one

GAA Discussion / Re: Woman referees
November 13, 2006, 01:46:42 PM
A woman will never referee a mans match until women start refereeing womens games. If women don't thrust a woman to referee one of their own games what chance is there of men thrusting them. Everybody knows that women are too emossional to make difficult decisions under pressure. They just can't do it. Don't get me wrong now I'm not sexist. There are some things that women do better than men. But refereeing ain't one of them.
Women aren't good at making decisions, they change their minds all the time and would inhibit the players. And God help the lads if the get a ref at the wrong time of the month!!

Portumna won't be appealing
12 November 2006

The Portumna GAA club in county Galway will not be appealing the punishment meted out to them by the County Board following the recent controversial county final.

Portumna had one of their players and two of their selectors suspended by the Galway county board after an investigation into the game with Loughrea.

The Portumna club had a meeting on Friday night last to mull over their punishment and club chairman Martin Carty admitted that they felt "aggrieved" by the County Board's decisions.

However Portumna's club officers have chosen to let the matter rest once they release an official statement.

Very disappointing display from Killeavy. Stevie didn't feature at all. It's all up hill now. POG was like a dog with 2 d!cks at the end.

Club: Killeavy St. Moninna's

County: Armagh

Greatest moment: Captaining the primary school  in 1977. The future looked bright but it's been down hill all the way since.
