You come on here every 15 minutes posting up details of the latest Israeli atrocity. You ignore any action by the Palestinians, such as:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-20294335

http://news.yahoo.com/israel-kills-one-second-day-gaza-strikes-062552365.html

That's the result of a 10 second google search. I'm no expert on the middle east, but I recognise a complex, intractable historical conflict when I see one. You, on the other hand, see nothing but a story a child of 6 could understand, with good guys on one side and monsters on the others. Grow up, ffs!

If you go back through the thread you will see that I only reported on the deaths in Gaza, and not on how many missiles and bullets that are fired at them. That would make the number of rockets pale in comparrison. No Israeli to the best of my knowledge has been killed by a rocket from Gaza.

You post a link to a story about rockets. Sure even a 6 year old would know that the headline is a lie:
"Israel says 79 rockets fired at it from Gaza"
Why does that not surprise me? (the bit about your knowledge, I mean).
More people die in Israel from pea nut allergies than rockets from Gaza.

I remember in the 1986 semi final Olcan Laverty (who was very small) lined out at corner forward had a wee trick. Where he would stick the ball under his arm pit when going round the corner back. Referee never coped it. Highly doubt he would get away with that now. Almost sure Paul McKillen got man of the match marking his favourite hurler John Fenton.

Another little pointer was quite a few Antrim players had never even been to Croke park then even for a visit.

And you seem such a classy bloke yourself Stew!
Was thinking the same myself.

I heard ricey puts a lot of hard work into underage teams. That should never be under estimated. Any way, most Tyrone people that I've met that knows him say he's a wild nice fella. Don't know him personally but I just loved the way he played during a game.  He could just pop up any where grab a point, then head full of the pipe back down the field to his position. Some boy. I will always remember in the 2005 final after big Thomas O Se grabbed and smashed Kerry's second goal and looked like they would turn the game a round. Comenth the hour comenth the man up comes Ricey running the full length of the field to assist in the move where wee Peter nicked a point from a fierce tight angle. That settled any Tyrone nerves that day and they pushed on for home. For me that point was as good as a goal. Sad to see him go but as they say time batters on for all of us.

Will be for me always one of the "blanket men". All Ireland semi final 2003 will go down in epiphany. Tyrone that day changed the GAA. Then everyone including the hurlers and all started to copy them. I was so impressed with Tyrone that I started to laugh in disbelief at the fierce discipline and commitment in the tackles.

Israeli justice

An Israeli Court in Lod acquitted Tuesday an Israeli soldier who shot and killed a Palestinian child during a nonviolent protest against the Annexation Wall in Ni'lin village, near the central West Bank city of Ramallah, in July 2008.

The soldier admitted to firing two rounds of live ammunition at the child, 10-year-old Ahmad Mousa, leading to his death.

During his court testimony, the soldier said that "not firing back at those who hurl stones at the army is considered weakness; therefore, I opened fire".

The Judge claimed that "it was not proven that the bullets fired by the soldier led to the death of the child", despite the fact that she acknowledged that the soldier opened fire using live ammunition while his life was not in danger.

The soldier, identified as Omri Abu, stated that he was in a bulletproof vehicle, but added that "these vehicles protect you to a certain level, and sometimes become useless when the hood is damaged, and the windshield is broken".

According to Israeli daily, Haaretz, as the unit arrived at the scene, Palestinian youths started hurling stones at the armored jeep, and Abu immediately opened the jeep's door and fired two rounds of live ammunition, hitting the child in the forehead causing instant death.

The death toll in the past 24 hours has now increased to 7 as 2 more Palestinians have been murdered by Israel. The skies are filled with Drones and F 16's, and there is a real fear in Gaza right now.

The number of rockets fired from Gaza into Israel TODAY stands at 72. I see not even Haaretz has the gall to say any of those killed were innocent civilians.

You are a fraud Ball DeBeaver and a disgusting excuse for a human being. Shame on you.

Tyrone / Re: Tyrone Club Football and Hurling
February 02, 2012, 03:08:10 AM
Disgraceful decision by the ccc. If this stands Tyrone should abandon their league game in Croke Park and Derrytresk shouldn't go to the final. The amount of abuse that I have read a bout Derrytresk and Northern Gaels this last few days on various web sites has been an eye opener. The punishment in no way reflects the crime.

"If" the CCC were judging their punishment by what was shown on that short clip on youtube then its absolutely scandalous. I can't comment on any other part of the game because I wasn't their. However, if that is the case and that was their evidence Tyrone GAA should pull out of the league game with Kildare in protest for their fellow County man.(Which is not going to happen I know).

The point is fairly clear: Civil Rights marchers were mown down, and you think that this was after they 'embarrassed Britain' into conceding basic human rights, though obviously not the right of peaceful assembly.

So you believe the best answer was to reply in kind? Mow down innocent people and blow children to pieces?

I posted this before but this is for the benefit of those who didn't see it. This clearly shows by far that the British were the most monsterous.

The children who died in Ireland and Britain since 1968 because of the troubles.
