Whats wrong with the Armagh resultrs page?

http://www.rte.ie/aertel/450-01.html

By the way Orior;

Redmond O'Hanlon, Barney Canavan, Rory Best, Sir Charles Poyntz, Simon Best, John Rafferty your boys took a hell of a beating.

I heard the pass where missing some important players, most notably their left half forward. You'll not have it as handy in the return fixture.

How long was Fergal Doherty banned for after that foul?  :P

I don't think Dunnion even got a free!

And rightly so, Doherty had 2 feet on the ground and your man was flying through the air and hit as good a shoulder as you can give!

True. Definatley not a free there.
Do both players not have to be facing the same direction for a shoulder?

Did Down not avoid defeat in their 7 league games in 2004 under POR.

They did draw a right few though and I think they went on to lose to Offaly in the final.

Non-story - hardly banned: just requires the written consent of the parents, which is pretty sensible, and relatively hassle-free to obtain.

Yeah and when all clubs move to the Membership & Registration system this year its set up in such a way that a parent/guardian is copied on text to juvenile. Part of me feels its a bit ott but its better than anything dodgy ever happening so even though its a bit more hassle for team organisers overall the GAA is to be commended. Other sporting organisations will struggle to keep up with this.

Exactly. I know my own club is holding a registration night on Friday where all underage parents are required to attend with a parent. Both the child and the parent sign up to club's code of conduct for players and spectators and pay a registration fee. We don't text players at the minute but if we did, all we would need to do would be to include in the documents to be signed permission for the club to do so. Fairly straightforward.

How many underage parents have you got in your club TAM?

In fairness the BBC guys said that it was fergies comments after that game that may have affected Dowds decision.

I'd say that Dowd just thought it was too early in the game to send Vidic off.

Ha, thats exactly what I said when I seen it.

To be fair, I'm hairy but I'm not quite that hairy.

And I really don't think John_Martin wants some of his "male grooming" stories to be broadcast to the entire world!

I just thought it was funny as I had the same thought and I don't know what you are talking about but I'll leave it at that just in case.

Spent the day working,my 6th saturday in a row...shouldn't complain really things were quite for long enough..
Came home and cleaned out the van, then cleaned the windows of the house..

Would have loved a Chinese tonight, but settled for some chips and southern fried chicken that I cooked myself..

Home made chips or frozen?

Watching MOTD now in bed. God the recession has hit me hard.

Just the frozen kind tonight Im afraid, its hard to get proper nice spuds in Dublin so I always get a bag when I'm down home but they were all gone unfortuanly so I couldn't make chips so I had to slum it with frozen..
I havent had a decent spud in months!
We'll post you a bag! Couldn't be without them. Surely there must be some decent spuds on sale in England. They aren't confined to Ireland.

There's really not, they can't do spuds, nor do they know what decent bacon and sausages taste like.

Well said! It's impossible to get adecent fry in England.

The big one kicking off soon.

If Uruguay beat Argentina and Ecuador beat Chile who have already qualified, Maradona's tenure ends in disaster. Gonna be fireworks.

Argentina 25 pts
Uruguay 24 pts
Ecuador 23 pts.

Chile   v Ecuador
Uruguay v Argentina
Is it 3 points for a win? What happens if Argentina draw and Ecuador win?

Ecuador would need to win by 5 goals to overtake Argentina.
