Fair play to mcginley I doubted him and I was wrong. Takes a good player to score two majors in inter county championship!!!

Under lights ; obviously you are not a Clonoe fan.You probably hate Ardboe as well!
I'm a massive Rahillys fan. I have a number 11 shirt with Doris on the back. He's my fav. Best player outside the county imo. Was a big fan of Ryan T back in the day too.
Just saying that all the Clonoe supporters on here do is complain. Complained last year that championship was unfair as no time for prep for Ulster. Now complaining when champ is early. Never seen any strabane posters, and even seen an article from Danny McBride saying he didn't mind, complaining about them having to play this friday in orginial fixtures. Lot of people suffering from Poor Me Syndrome.
I care not for Ardboe.
EC Unique- a few words on Daisy McDermotts form coming into championship. Mighty reports about him. Was some county minor.
Daisy is flying
I just hope our 3 lads get through Sat night without injury. Errigal's team selection will be interesting next Friday night as it has been different for every match this year. I would doubt if Clonoe are too worried about us after last years hammering.
I would say Ciaran McGinley will get through sat night OK. He shouldn't be on. Can't understand what Harte sees in him. Nowhere near county standard IMO.
Was very good at WHB for Tyrone last year imo.
Bit harsh on the lad. 3 wides when out of position doesn't make him a bad player. He struggled badly against Kildare this year when he was on the powerful Hurley though.
Excellent against Dromore in Championship last year also.
You say shooting from out of position I say greedy fecker would shoot from anywhere. I was never convinced - good club player but not good enough for Tyrone never mind to keep boys like RON out of team

After the Tyrone keeper was black carded last week when Down were taking the penalty the keeper should not have been replaced until after the next break in play, technically Tyrone had one too many players on the field.

Cannot see either team starting as selected. About 4 changes each I would think. McMahon and Gormley will have to come into defence for Tyrone and surely if McNeice got injured last week it is a risk to play him. Ryan Johnston has to start for Down after the way he played last week

Guarantee you he names same 15 - with only possibility of 1 or 2 of the subs coming in as replacements before throw in.
Remember Micky is smarter than everyone else!

Was just reading through some of this.
I downloaded nike app a couple of years ago and took into running but gave up after a while but have got back into this last month or so - so decided to run a 5k to see how quick I could do it.
I did it in 23:48 - how does this rank in the grand scheme of things - will I be able to knock much more of this?
Depends on a few things obviously such as your age and if you are playing any football/hurling these days etc.
To me that is a good time but there are lads here who would be thinking 19 mins for 5k. If that is your first real attempt I see no reason why you couldn't knock a few minutes off 23:48. Good luck with it.

I finally got around to watching the match again last night or at least the second half. Some of the defending for Tyrone is just unreal. One time I counted 7 men back and Poland passed and ran on and nobody followed him. Schoolboy stuff time and again. I presume they watch videos of it afterwards.
I see Brolly in the GL is heaping praise on Block for steadying the ship. He also praises Sean after saying how the big man rarely goes down in his own box.
I would say Down will have less fear and more belief this weekend. I still think they'll come up short this time though.
I wonder will Maginn be so abrasive this time as he could have been sent to the line much faster last Sunday. Even before the penalty.
Thats the thing that cheeses me off as well - blanket defence being used and not one tackle being put in on the opposition while they score a point. Down were at it in the first half as well, almost looking for someone else to tackle for them.
The was an couple of examples in the second half of Tyrone defending which summed up the old and the new. Johnstone, i think, on 3 occasions was carrying the ball on the left wing. On the first two occasions the was chased by Matty Donnelly and then Peter Harte, they both ran alongside him, tapping him with the near hand attempting no real tackle as he made 40 or 50 yeards progress. A few minutes later the same player was in possession again and Conor Gormley was the defender. He jockeyed him, made a well timed, hard tackle and came away with the ball, at a crucial time. Gormely shouldnt have had the pace of Harte or Donnelly but his understanding of the art of tackling was much superior. I think this exemplifies part of the problem our defence faces - we can still get back in numbers but the tackling isnt as effective as it has been in the past.

He's an idiot anyway for even considering getting married at his age and fame and type of lifestyle he has.
He will be forever touring with his golf and with each country there will be so much easy poontang to have, so why the hell would he be getting married?
Agreed!
But why get engaged in the first place and why wait to the invites are going out to call it off! Bad Form IMO!
Are you pissed off because you are missing out on the wedding?
