I'll hardly jinx you lot, since I've never seen you lose in Croker....apart from a certain day in 2002 of course ;D

Maybe you should start supporting Tyrone, you'd see them lose at Croker regularly enough :P

Yes we can stomach oceans of Buckfast and remain perfectly healthy, but the mere sight of a white jersey with a red hand (and I dont mean an Ulster Rugbyl jersey) has us all reaching for the sickbags. I have been known to throw up in various O'Neills' retail outlets at the mere sight of one ;D

Seems the mere sight of a purple and yellow jersey has the same effect on the Buckfast brigade too, judging by the choking that went on at the weekend

Brian Dowling on the radio there thinks the Dubs by a landslide.

No better man than Brian to call it. When he's not quaffing champagne in London gay clubs, he's lining pitches for juvenile games in Rathangan.

Sounds libellous...

is it really that hard to believe that we a late because we are having a good laugh in the pub drinking some nice beer?

I rest my case.

well atleast we didnt abandon our county team beacuse they are going through a bad patch, maybe if you boys were happier you would go to the games and enjoy the whole day.

Apart from the genuine Dublin hardcore (those supporters who attend league matches as well as championship), everybody knows that come May the vast majority of Jackeens are just a bunch of bandwagon jumpers who wouldn't be in their seats until the second half if man united were playing this Saturday on the tele

thats a rediculous statement!

This from a man who has started a thread about the Dublin v Wexford semi-final  ;)

a very valid thread aswell!

Do you have this weekend's EuroLottery numbers, Tankie?  I'm a bit skint at the minute

We owe Wexford one for the NFL semi final. Then again, we beat them in their patch in the back door of '02.

How do they face the Dubs after that mauling - hardly any motivation needed!

Wexford beating us by a point in that NFL semi-final in Portlaoise was the best thing to happen us in 2005 ... the team 'meeting' in the corner of the pitch after the game as the rain came down in sheets seemed to sort a few things out judging by the intensity of the discussions going on among the players...

Terrible typo in this morning's front page headline in the News Letter

FOOTBALL FANS' FURY AS STRIKE HITS GAMES   ... that apostrophe's in the wrong place

The vodka won't freeze, it'll just appear 'thicker' when you pour it.   I've three bottles of Stolicnaya in the freezer for couple of months and it pours fine when you're filling your glass... lovely

Bush people will always have a soft spot for Jody for scoring the winning point for 13-man Tyrone against the in-breds in the 1995 Ulster semi-final ... ahhhhhhh, gives me a warm glow akin to beating Kerry in the 2005 AI final :)

Bit of bad news today. The beard was coming on rightly but herself has given me until Sunday to decide if it's the beard or her.

If you could grow the oul beard on top instead of your gub, there'd be no problem with the wife

That reservoirdubs stuff is hilarious, jaysus they have a real persecution complex about everybody hating them (true) and some of the bile directed at Tyrone makes me feel delighted that our lads have really got under their skin... we aren't the team we were, no doubts, but Tyrone will be up for this one, and although i don't believe we'll win Sam this year, I'll settle for beating these over-hyped jackeens

Did mine in Cookstown ... was a shit driver and wasn't confident, but sure wasn't there a funeral in the town that morning and the whole place was at a standstill... cos of the hold-ups the tester didn't have time to do the parallel parking, which I'd no mission with ... passed it and when I went back to the depot and told by instructor he couldn't believe it, was shaking his head ... I was 59th learner driver in a row taught by him to get the test first time, he thought his glorious record was gonna go down the tubes with me :P

Lads if we're giving them an official thread, shouldn't we also give them the right name.

FB Kaunas

Wonder what the FB stands for?  Foot Ball, per chance, as opposed to anti-football, which they consigned to the Euro dustbin for a year at least
