Dunphy, Giles and "I love Barca" Brady can go and shite. Did they expect a red carpet and a round of applause for the fancy flicks and tricks. They get stuffed.

No credit whatsoever for comfortably beating the reigning champions over two legs. It may have been nervy after the goal but they weren't flying shots in or making the keeper work too much.

Delighted to go through, not scoring when we should have made it more difficult that it should be. A quality striker is needed in summer but we have a better team than we had two years ago.

Bring anyone on.

Carra, Agger and Finnan immense.

Think he still involved with training, even though he not included on panel

The panel wa named as 24 but 26 lads are still involved. The two not named are Liam McVicar and Chris Callan from Blayney. Both were on last years panel.

Had a nice wee bet on Robbie for First scorer on Saturday, 5-1 but Bar-one pay again for each subsequent goal the fist scorer scores, so 5-1 became 10-1. Thank you Robbie for that.

Big game this weekend (and I'll do a Fearon if you don't mind, my match ticket arrived on Friday), it looked a bigger game up to the Everton/Newcastle games but against that shower its alaways a big one.

Knowing Rafa he may rest a few with the CL return against Barca onTuesday. I would hope not as after the display at OT this year the players need to get the win. Haven't beat them since 2001 in the league at Anfield (Owen x 2, Riise thuderbolt ). That has to be corrected.

I happily stand corrected. Remember the goal (Dundalk road end) but forgot the game.

It was a cracker alright.

The dummy Ray McCarron scored was against Derry in the Ulster Championship.

Are you sure that dummy wasn't in the (drawn) match against Cavan in 1993? The famous game v Derry at Castleblayney was in 1992.

Certain it was against Derry in Blayney. The Cavan game was a drap affair and was a draw. Monaghan won the replay against Cavan but we could never many to beat Derry.

The first game against Derry we operated a  car park beside the ground and didn't get in till near half time, we were on our way out when McCarron got that cracker but stayed to the end and the car park was madness after it. Ended up leaving them at it Clones style.

The dummy Ray McCarron scored was against Derry in the Ulster Championship. Monaghan was dead and buried but that goal and another from Stephen McGinnity put them in lead only for Derry to level at the death.

Nudie wasn't a profilic scorer but had all the tricks and made scores for everyone as Eamon Mac said himself last night.

Nudie is a legend and he'd be the first to tell so himself  ;D

Bingobus - that post is a disgrace. There are a lot more than players in this association and people like Greenan probably give more time than players for less reward.

And if you want his tickets why don't you ask him for them?

Did I ask for his tickets? If he's so against the notion of accepting the tickets shouldn't even cross his mind.

I know people do buckets of work for clubs and counties yet will not accept one dime for it. Many would be out of pocket. Yet he has jumped onboard an All-star trip to Dudai. If it was the Ozzie rules down under I could see his reason for been there and fair play to the senior officias who go as they are representing the members of the GAA. But a glorified friendly in the desert? Whats his role?

Is this the same Mr Greenan who at half time of an Ulster Club qtr final in Clones wouldn't let the subs warm up on the pitch at half time and counted them coming off so that he could fine the club in question?

Yet he is ranting about giving letting Rugby players play on a field and not letting our own on it. He should worry about his own house and not start ranting about a motion passed by a mojority of members.

I see he has not yet decided what to do with his tickets. I'm sure he'll not be refusing them.

I also see he conducted this interview in Dubai? What need is there for him in Dudai and the rest of the other hangers on out there?

you played in the USFC?

didnt think it  ;)

Played and won, although I'd hardly your performance as playing. I'd call it a glorified ballboy with a jersey.

Have you seen ugly betty off camera - fox  :o

He must have been at different game. Shit kick outs, three goals and defenders panicking when ball got close to goal.

You make Dudek look like Peter Cech.
#2234
It was as funny as your goalkeeping display in Clones  ;D

Thats the greatest load of pants I've read in a long time.

If that was the reasoning taken by every "true" fan then Newcastle wouldn't have sold a ticket in 40 odd years. Three quarters of all stadium would be continuously empty.

Support for a team is unconditional. Thats my view. You put up with the bad and the good. The bad is taken in the belief that the good will return. Last nights singing when beating wasn't a pat on the back for the supporters who can go home happy that if they aren't the best team on the field, at least it we are off it. The singing was their way of booing and showing the team that that it wasn't good enough. It was a reminder the powers that are that the team is their to serve the supporters and that was lacking last night.

Anyone who walked out, should stay out and get on Eminems ballbag high chair, where they wallow in their own self importance.
