How many handpasses would there have been in 84? 50?

Totally and utterly irrelevant-- why the obsession with a period when we were singularly unsuccessful?
singularly?
The success only encompasses a period of 6 championships

It is a fantastic result for Tipp. Quinlivan must be assured of an All Star.

From a Galway perspective if I had been told they would win Connacht at the start of the year I would have taken it.
At least they are going in the right direction. The team is fairly young and if they learn from this they might do something.
The football is going to be fairly open for the next few years .

Jezuz, that's woeful from Galway. Seafoid - you've much bigger fish to fry than our feckin' 80s team!
Very disappointing. Beaten all over the pitch. Tipp were very impressive.

Must be annoying  for Tipp after such a good half

Based on tyrone comments , fear . I think.Mayo will win. That lateral handpassing will do Tyrone in. Re the Ulster final how much out of the 11 points in 84 would Frank McGuigan get a chance to score with this year''s style of play?

We were significantly out-handpassed by Donegal* in the Ulster Final, but sure you're as entitled to an opinion on this game as anyone else. But, like arseholes... ;)

* 263 hanpasses to 149.

I wish the GPA would use the nutritional expenses money to buy a nosebag for Ger and free up the space for someone else. The format of the competition is stale but Ger is worse.

Throne are 8/11  so there aren't many red hands betting on the team.

Explain.
If the tyronies were as confident as the posters here there would be a wall of money on the team.
8/11 is mediocre . Mayo are misfiring, can't keep up performance for 15 minutes , have known  psychological issues etc but Tyrone are only slight favourites.

What price do you think they should be? Will the gambling of a few people in one county shift the odds of a national bookmaker? Are you manifesting your Tyrone complex with whatever nonsense pops into your head?
3 to one on at least
And county money often drives prices.

So Mayo, by your reckoning, have gone from our 'bogey team' to absolute no-hopers? Scraping the bottom of that particular barrel methinks.

She has shag all credibility. Zero. Full stop.
Listening to Kaine talking now about how she is worried about poor and underprivileged is a fin joke.
Google Clinton foundation for some interesting info.
Liberal media in overdrive.
It is now Russia's fault.
Trump not my first choice, but four more years of this and we are fuc*ed.

Shouldn't we be fucked by now after Obama's reelection?

Given the hand he was dealt he's done a decent enough job, but the long term prognosis of the outstanding federal debt is terrifying

They can reduce its value by having inflation and zero interest rates like they did in the 50s

How will they inflate it Seafoid?
By taxing the rich, Muppet
Because there is a hole in the bucket !

The 1% own 42% of everything. So tax them at 20% extra . It is not like they are doing anything with the money

It is all part of a very long economic cycle

Seafoid, have you looked at what Tyrone have scored in every game this year?
Even in a claustrophobic Ulster final we scored 13 points. Most from play.
Are you worried about meeting Mayo in the semi for a revenge game?

Fuzzman Ulster football is some kind of Kabuki version that involves complex rituals of holding on to the ball without doing much with it. I have tried to read Jim McGuinness's columns in the IT but I don't really understand the system. GAA is like any other sport which means exploiting space at speed. The Ulster version is something else. If Seamus Heaney was around he might write a poem linking it to the Trojan war.

13 points would not be enough to beat Mayo. Are Tyrone as good as Donegal 2012? Do they have the quality beyond the puke, other than Cavanagh?

I don't mind if Mayo win the All Ireland.
