No best ref by a mile Ive seen. Will be a big loss. His umpires let him down on Sunday but he did ok himself. Understands the game, lets it flow.

In fairness to Sweeney , he won the 3 early frees in front of goal when we were behind

Apparently Feely has been offered a GAA scholarship as well at UCD. As well as having been offered a contract at Bohs. The chap is seriously talented having already played hurling at minor level for Waterford.

Is David Whyte still suspended?

Bradley must have been at a different game to the one I was at.

Lads, the booing was tame enough and came from both sides. Ask Paddy Cunningham or John Doyle were they bothered by it and I'll gaurantee you they'll say no. Some would say it lends to a better atmosphere even. PC's placekicking certainly wasnt affected! As for the Nacho Novo brigade, no one gave a toss. The replay will be atight affair and Im sure Antrim will start with no. 33 this time, he had a huge impact when he came on. We will need Johnny Doyle to have a good day if we're going to make it.

Congrats to Louth on a super win, hope ye back it up now in nest couple of games. Gutted as a Kildare fan. The backs werea noshow and a srightly pointed out here, a lot of players playing out of position. That full bck line is a complete disaster. We had a year to rectify this and yet nothing. What was worse were the choice of subs. These guys aint up to it, never were in the case of the 2 brought on to rescue the fullbackline. MCGeeney did a great job with KIldare post Wicklow 2008 but hes had a brain transplant this year. I believe hes outthinking himself and not getting the basics right. He also introduced the idea of the Kildare juniors being the reserves but he has not used them at all. Apparently he wasnt even at the Leinster  junior final. For the record, I believe Lonergan and ONeill from Moorefield could have played in full back line. Was David Lyons injured? Hes way better than what was out there. Brian Kinihan from Athy is better than what they had. I never wish to see Emmet Bolton played as a corner back again and Chalky is a no.6 or no.7. What has happened Brian Flanagan, he was superb last year. McGeeney needs a good draw in qualifiers or else he'll be shown the door if we get beat again and that would be a pity as i believe he has the potential to be very good. Paul Grimleys loss was certainly Monaghans gain. Armagh couthy board must have rocks in their head to pass him up twice.

Kildare going nowhere this year. Our best players last couple of years, Dermot, Smithy, JD,Jimmers and Mikey Conway are all not performing due to a variety of reasons. Sadly, it looks like Conway is out for the year from what Ive heard. I genuinely fear for us against Louth in the Leinster Championship, it could be a short summer. Also, agree with the sentiments expressed about Kevin O'Neill. Why hes not getting a chance now is beyond me.
