would love to see an up to date figure on tyrone now that the garvaghey behemoth is to be financed and coupled with the regression in the senior team.

id gurantee garvaghey wouldnt have been built without a kitchen if she had been in the role instead of moby in 09. danny mcbrides usefulness to mickey now over step forward michael cassidy. good to see mickey kerr in there too as no 2, hartes patsys cut by 50% in one fail swoop. change she a coming.

i would say omagh have as good as chance of any of the aforementioned teams of winning the championship and to bring up an absent owen mccusker as the reason they beat dromore is a little bit sour grapes omagh played without conor clarke bar 20 mins in this years championship played a final without miheal gallagher and had conan grugan play the whole of the dromore match with a broken hand. i point you to the first kick out of the match which he caught clean and broke his hand doing so when he landed. teams get injuries and whilst an an injured mccusker may have made a difference theres no guarantee he would have got a kick of the best fullback in the county. anyway roddy i think your still a bit bitter look after carmen and omagh will look after themselves maybe we can draw a couple of handy ones and make a final save ourselfs for that eh?. omagh are deserved county champions and slaughtneill deserved ulster champions to the rest keep licking the salt it helps the auld bitterness.

glenman would besmirking a club by calling them arrogant arseholes who spout verbal abuse not be doing the same thing. sounds as if your still jealous of omagh getting the electric in the fifties the glen is an awful parochial wee place. couldnt imagine said letterkenny player if this happened at all not havent heard this before. if were going to talk sectarianism and being offended what do you determine thommo as sectarianism. how far do you go before its sectarianism. surely the ref and umpires would act if they heard any verbal abuse. black card for the chat i believe. anyways all sounds a bit sour grapes and a wee bit to pc what nice boys we have on here looks like some of you never played the game sledging goes on in all sports youboys all get to mass now and pray no more of this terrible sledging goes on.

some good stuff on here on weights etc. id love to see where gregory gets his information that a good gym and programme will decrease a clubs injury rate. you should take that ground breaking research up to ulster rugby as their lads are now are on average 10lbs heavier and their traumatic injury rate per player has increased. all them big powerful men causing a lot of damage to themselves and each other. i see olympic weights outside gyms are now the rage both have been used for years by the kerrymen gaelic football is about 4 things jumping running kicking catching. you can take all the gurus that are getting paid a fortune up and down the country and they can talk about specification bodyweight form/function functional assessments prehabilitation cryotherapy and gyms with dumbells barbells kettlebells or even cowbells all they want but if it aint specific to those 4 areas your wasting the clubs money.

2 dumbells a high step a gym ball a piece of resistance tubing room to run. £20 per man 40 men in a squad £800

versus a fitness specialist with an ology and a degree 6-10 000 grand (make a bad player and a manager look good)

versus an all singing dancing gym £10-50 000

remember just because something costs a lot dosent mean its quality or relevance is guaranteed.

i didnt say he was one footed i said he was one sided read my post, (he needs blinkers to get him out of the top right side of the field) and i think he needs a wee stool to get him up to the optics in the said establishment. he will get his chance no doubt but hes while small boys and them wee short hamstrings will never stick county ball. i hope he stands up (what he is standing up) and prove me wrong as we need forwards. will he count in the physical stuff and what would happen if they line him out top of the right hed be having shots from the carpark at healy. mind you the best greyhound that ever lived master mcgrath needed alignment he pulled to the right as well so it can be done.

a gentleman and a role model if you hadnt to mark him or dare touch him in club football. some red tinted specs on here his injury record makes the first day of the somme look like a teddy bears picnic. for the last 5 years didnt know if tony hart or micke harte was looking after him.

is bradley better than oneill mccurry or mcaliskey i doubt it. very small for county ball and hes very one sided but has pace worth a look in mckenna and then hang him upside down on the stairs worked for peter shilton when he was growing. harte will include him as he is a image in his own making harte no fan of big forwards hang up from his own shortness competing with the likes of mcguigan and kerlin back in the 70s. if ure over 5 10 you wont make it up front and especially in the corner.

o neill was good but i wouldnt say a great he had one great season in 2005. apart from a few cameo appearances in league games usually against dublin he was often inconsistent. his much maligned club colleague mr dooher for me was a more valuable player for tyrone not as aesthetic on the eye but what a man. he should have been the 2008 footballer of the year as his displays against dublin/kerry that year were immense. oneill held his manager to ransom for most of 2008 and then threw a hissy fit after the final sorry not for me. penrose was a worker and a good boy a delight for harte enough said. we have more to worry about i hear joey mac and gormley are also pulling the pin to me those guys far outshine oneill and penrose.
