I'm praying it's old. The tattoo work appears to be different. It's definitely a thorough examination...

I'd classify myself as a solid golfer. For me that means I can play golf to a standard where I enjoy it  ;D the one thing I am fighting with, and always have, is a slice from left to right off the tee (right hander). Anybody any ideas on how to cut it out? Irons and short stuff has always been solid but when on the tee I have absolutely no idea about the final destination  ;D

Quit playing 10 years ago, played off 5, fed up with 5 hour rounds and scoring in competitions.

I hear you. Golf is a cracking sport but you've got to be up and out around sunrise. Theres nothing worse than going out around 12 and it eating up your whole day. We teed it up at 6.40 on Saturday and I was back at home drinking tea before 11. Couldn't beat it.
Some of us can't even play on a Saturday.
Yes you can, if you pay the full membership fee like the rest of us 🙂
Saturday is blocked out at our club for men's competition from sunrise.  Ladies full membership is actually £3.50 per year more than the men's rates due to higher LGUI fees.

That is an absolute farce in this day and age. Out of interest what club are you a member of? On another note I was at a loose end in work earlier and took a quick browse around membership rates in certain clubs. It really is difficult to attract people to the game whenever you see the sheer cost of it in some parts of the country. Such a pity as it's a cracking game for both your physical and mental health ( the latter is only true around 20% of the time  ;D)

Great win for McDowell today

Absolutely delighted for GMac. He's seems to genuinely be a top lad. He's the kind of lad that I think us average hackers can look up to. He's not the most athletic and not the longest off the tee but he certainly delivers in the clutch moments. Would love to see him get to Portrush.

Every Irish man and woman knows the proper intent behind the Irish flag. But the point is that it is now seen as something completely different in Unionist communities. Surely we would have to be willing to adjust and adapt our national flag for the sake of Irish unity? I for one would have no problem if it made the transition easier for every individual on this island.

Surely the sales pitch has to make a 32 county Ireland much more appealing than our current setup. How this is achieved is the million dollar question. I wonder would Joe be willing to have a new flag and a new anthem to effectively wipe the slate clean and start afresh? What would be the thoughts of those options? From living in the North I find our Irish flag is used almost as a weapon to act as a deterrent towards Unionists. For a UI to work we will have to embrace and promote the culture of every man woman and child on the island. Unionists need to be shown that a UI for them will not be what NI was for nationalists.

I see on facebook that the Teamtalk just donated £3,600 to Strabane Downs Syndrome Support Group, and in the last 5 years have donated almost £25,000 to local charities. Not bad for a group of men who were recently described on this board by a certain Augher poster as "f**kin pathetic money grabbing f**kin arselickers".

I definitely came across the quote, but I'm sure it wasn't an Augher man that said it.  ::) ::) ::)

In all seriousness, fair play to them. Yes they have their flaws but they really do offer a fantastic service. We'd be much worse off as a county if we didn't have them.

When I went to the turnstiles on the weekend they weren't asking for £20...maybe you're not a Fermanagh man after all, but a proud Farney man instead. If you were so interested in your "county", you'd have a season ticket and be getting serious value for money.  But this year will be like every other year, you'll sit from your armchair and fire out negative vitriol until there's a bandwagon to jump on.

The first week in February and the usual over the top hysterical negative heads are out in full force...

Good post RHS, and yes, a bit too early with the obituaries. Though we would want to be showing something of the necessary fitness levels soon.
what I  seen on Sunday was not down to a lack of fitness. More like a lack of ideas or any kind of attacking game plan. Of course we will get fitter but that's not enough, we have to get smarter too.

God you seen a lot from your armchair.

Well folks, can somebody point me in the right direction of a good service. I've tried various different boxes but find there's always a jumpy enough quality. Especially when you most want it. Are there certain areas that it is poorer than others? My internet speed is very good.

An absolute belter. Another favourite of mine would be Reo Speedwagon - Keep on Loving You.

Mickey showing massive faith in Ronan O'Neill. Am I right in thinking he started every match? Didn't show a pile on Wednesday night.
Giving him enough rope to hang himself id imagine

I actually thought O'Neill worked his socks off on Wednesday. Didn't contribute a huge amount on the scoresheet but definitely the hardest I've seen him work in a Tyrone jersey. I'd still question his physical condition but.

Folks, does anybody have any idea of when club fixtures etc are going to be released? Even just a timetable? Trying to plan a few weekends for the summer and it isn't easy!!! ;D
