People who shout for a hop ball before the referee throws it up
People who shout 50 when a 45 is awarded

Are we back to the cricket thread on the GAA again?

My experience recently is that sometimes the rows are very dosile but the media gets hold of them and blows them out of proportion. (Dublin V Tyrone?) At other times the melees or rows can be extremely violent and dangerous but by the next day the "handbags" brigade start their spin to protect the name of the GAA. The big mistake in a row is to get caught on television. Then it is impossible to spin your way out of it (stewartstown v Bally....). Do you ever notice there is usually a small amount of people who try to stop the row or who valiantly protect the referee if they are under attack. They are usually the unsung heros.

Hi Charlie, the strike rate on this thread is average. looks like we're headingly for a dismissal. Lords i hope it's over at least not be-four we are hit for six or run out of ideas.

that's true mid louth. they lack someone with a bit of sense to show some leadership. A lot of their players have suspect characters. I heard it claimed that G neville said to neil lennon that Saha would miss the penalty as his head was gone. now that was the team captain. what the hell was he talking to Lennon for? Also the TV pointed out that in the same match Ronaldo tried a shot from a free 40 yards out.
Great interview with Murino though about the team being evacuated at 2am from their hotel. He laughed at the players pyjamas. I never saw him so happy before.

It's Tru-man he Willis, then everyone will be Ponting the finger at us. Don't say I didn't Warne you. Mind you O'Neill is not a Bradman.

Once again RHF great reports. I could almost feel the casement stand shaking. PS Carmen Paddy Hunter is a legend around Tyrone. A civil lad who's very approachable.  :)
