I was at last nights match

Left 10 minutes into 2nd half as it wasnt the safest--St Pat's thugs were runnin about lookin trouble and i was actually more worried about them than the Linfield fans who were penned in behind the goals to the left singing "Rule Britannia" till their hearts were content.

Pat's had a hooligan element behind the other goals and a fan was removed for lighting a flare and resistin Gardai who had to try v. hard to get the flare from the 'fan'
These 'fans' were tryin to paw at Mannus any time he was taking a goal kick in the 1st half--the stewards had their work cut out--the atmospher was highly charged and electric

We only realised we were in trouble when our Northern Reg car was being stared at by groups of hoods from Pats before the match as we drove to the ground--we decided to go in anyway but left early and jogged to the car to get outta there asap before we were targeted by either "fans"

Linfield fans were singing "Northern Ireland" as usual outside the ground before the game---some atmosphere but would not recommended for neutrals!

In fairness, that Tyrone team has tanked every team so far. They probably had their Dungannon players back today too.
Antrim minors had a very comfortable win last week against Donegal.

Yeah but 7-15 to 1-10 in a real tanking--they did have their Hogan Cup players back--but what sort of excuse is that--thats like saying to someone not to hit power-blasters as its not fair!

see St Pauls beat the Johns by 8 and St Bridgids won their first game in Div 1 in L Dhearg by 10--any other results in Div 1 or 2??
