Sexton looks embarressed, and he should! Rogan to win the inevitable rematch.

GAA Discussion / Re: Championship Songs

Ever since RTE had that pre-Championship trailer a few years ago with Snow Patrol's "You're all that I have", every time I hear the song I think of summertime in Croke Park!

Mourinho's defining season - when he won it back to back - he bought 7m but sold 15m. In the same year, Fergie bought 35m and sold 15m. He has been given the freedom to build up an enormous debt (-176m) over his tenure. That's scandalous. Wenger is 3m in the black.

Fair enough, but you said compare their spending over their time together, and in that time Mourinho's spending completly dwarfed Fergie's.

And actually, the year he spent those amounts was the year after he retained the title, the year Utd won it again. The year Chelsea retained the title Mourinho spent over £111m and made just under £21m back.   ;)

Mourinho was knocking Fergie out with Porto.

Also, check out his spending with Fergie's over their time together.

You'll find Chelsea spent considerably more than Utd in Mourinho's time.

;D Title will be won before Liverpool play next, please god! The chance to win the Premiership at home for only the second time!  :o Didn't realise it was only done the once, against Spurs 10 years ago.

Had to do it the hard way, weren't getting anything tonight, but the win was grinded out.

Didn't get to the game last night bingobus but it sounded like dour stuff alright, the scoreline alone would suggest a brutal game.

Anthony's a funny fella alright, he can just take a notion and stop playing, but when he plays he can be just brilliant. He'd only returned from America in the winter of 2007 and he was put on the county panel straight away, I've a notion he wasn't too bothered tbh, and he's definately not one of these lads who have football as their life. When he left the county he went into the club training, but by the start of the league he was in the crowd. I'd say he came back this year as Brennan is in charge again, a few players have returned in fact.

Think Barca are the designated home team so will wear their home kit.

I tell you something - Gus Hiddink came out of this debacle at the end very well - he didn't lower himself and looked embarassed at the way Drogba was making a complete tool of himself and Chelsea FC. Apparently Drogba had a pair of flip flops on ??  :D :D :D

Abbsolutely, I've the height of respect for Hiddink, a great manager and a respectful man.

Interesting that the Chelsea players were apparently saying that UEFA didn't want a second English team in the final, I wonder was the ref Platini in disguise!  :D

:D Drogba looks like he's being led away to a mental institution! At least he should be!

Fletcher will be a big loss as this is the type of game we need him for, to break up the play of Xavi and Iniesta as you say. Best 2 sides in Europe so it should be a cracker! Had thought Chelsea would be better but Hiddink is a brilliant manager and would have set up Chelsea in such a way that would be very tough to break down. Barca will be very tough too though and have a few boys to return, should be a great game anyway!

Dry your eyes Terry!  :D

Wasn't sure whether I wanted Barca to go through or not, but after seeing the behaviour of the Chelsea players I'm feckin delighted! Ballack, Drogba and co. are a disgrace!

Plus Barca will have an awful makeshift back line for the final, and I'd be very wary of Hiddink's tactical nous in plotting Utd's downfall.

Drogba roarin at the camera!  :D :D :D No Rome for you ya w**ker!

Ballack will miss the final.
