QuoteThere's a difference between calling someone a great player and a great young player.

Indeed.  Alexander Hleb is a great player, whilst Ashley Young is a great young player.

QuoteCouldn't understand how he got off after barging into Morrison the way he did.

He didn't 'get off'. He was suspended as a result.

Ignorance must be bliss.

Never heard a word of it.  Mind you it probably was buried somewhere in the death notices of the Evening Herald if reported on at all.

Should ahve been 2-0 up by half time.

I fear another Porto and that is why I personally prefer playing the 2nd leg away.  Always suits an attacking team better.

Treasuer get a letter from the garage/mechanic who serviced it to say it as in pristine condition.  They will then give you TOP book price.  Best you can do.

Bad move playing Fletcher imho.  Head cannot be right after his wife getting held at knifepoint.  Hopefully I am proved wrong.

Mickey has called it right.  Colm O'Rourke was some gyppo in his day to go calling anyone a disgrace.

You cannot blame Aghaloo GFC for trying the safeguard the future of these 2 young lads.  Lets face it, Dungannon is a sh*thole.  Would you want to see your kids brought up there?

If Pederson had made even the feintest attempt to stay on his feet he'd have got the penalty.

I got this text message from Give Her Dixie yesterday:

"I've been behind the steering wheel from I left home.  2400 miles so far with hardly any sleep.

Arrived in Morocco yesterday to  a big fanfare.  Driving out through town was amazing as the crowds ont he street gave us a huge welcome.  The a big reception and took us to an hotel.  The police have had us under armed guard since we arrived and giving us great security.  There are hundreds of them.

Tomorrow we head towards the Algerian border which hasn't been opened in 20 years.  We will be the exception.  All good so far and some really nice people."

Maybe so but I can't help thinking of 1998 when the manchester bookie famously paid out on united wining the title.  All it takes are injuries to 3 or 4 key players and points can drop like snow off a rope.   We've a hectic schedule coming up and I for one am not counting any chickens until April anyway.

We definately owe Galway one for the league semi-final when the conspired with the ref to rob a draw to bring us to the west.

They'll be high on confidence after making the Dubs look like a ladies team so it has the makings of a good match.   Will Gormley be given the job of picking up Joyce?
