Right out of the Paul Scholes school of tackling.

Well Tevez's workrate did f**k all, might as well throw on someone who can control the ball. Just need to get it up that far now...

FFS this match is flying by!

Tevez on for Anderson. Thank god, we need him on quick, was afraid Fergie might leave it for 20 minutes.

Odds for a Utd win up to 5/1.

John O'Shea with the winner for United in ET

:D I would absolutely love that! It would cement his legendary status!

Barcelona 1 (Henry 53)

Man Utd 3 (Rooney 12, Vidic 43, Ronaldo 86)

Okay so the third goal may be optimistic but so what!  :P

A few episodes into season 5 now myself, nearly don't want to watch it too quick as that's it over then! Only 10 episodes in this season apparently too which is annoying!

The hype for this match is unreal, the BBC website started the pre-match build up at 9 this morning!

I'd be fairly confident about the match, don't really know why though! I'd say 2-1 or at a stretch 3-1 to Utd. Think it'll be similar to Arsenal 2nd leg, Utd score fairly early, and Barca will need to chase it. Utd grab another to go two up and Barca get one back. Utd may or may not get another late one when Barca are throwing everything forward. First goal is crucial though, if Barca get it they're not the type of team that you want to be leaving yourself open at the back against.

But again, I really don't care about the score or quality of match as long as the result is right.

Ah right, I was looking at odds checker and just seen there they didn't have the Ladbrokes odds up.

That type of thing is out of order, but it's hardly in Mullen territory. Even still, Doherty was more guilty on the day. He's an awful hot-head and will need to keep his temper in check if Derry are to challenge for honours this year. Dick has shown everyone else how easy Doherty is to wind up and you can bet other teams will try to take advantage.

Doherty has no track record of behaviour like Sunday. It was completely out of character as Screenexile said. The more obvious conclusion is that Dick has shown how effective he is at being a hateful hoor.

Fair enough, I hope he doesn't do the same again as I don't like seeing good players like that getting more involved in the off-the-ball stuff. Dick can be a hateful hoor alright but he's never riled someone up as much as he has Doherty the last two years. Not saying Doherty will do the same again but maybe Dick just brings the worst out in him!

On nearly all the betting sites there's nothing separating the two teams. On betfair Utd are very slight favourites, but generally there's nothing between them.

No I agree, Doherty is one of the best midfielders about alright, but wasn't at his best on Sunday as he got too caught up in the nonsense. I'm not saying he's generally a dirty player, and obviously you've seen him alot more than me, but it seems to be he got easily riled up. I know Dick can be a cnut to play against, but sure he went out to stop Doherty playing and he effectively did that. If any teams feel they can do the same they'll surely try. But at the same time I suppose Doherty won't be making the same mistake again.
