Also, according to Wikipedia, Billy Drummond now lives in the Antrim Glens.

Kerry team out tomorrow night , don't expect Galvin to start given his recent hamstring and Seamus Scanlon looks like being out for a longer spell. Tomas O'Se is suspended so we will need ball winners around the middle of the field, still enough quality in Kerry to take the game to Cork and we will hopefully do that. Should be a cracking game.

Two sides that canceled each other out last Year. Scores were at a premium, but in the end Kerry shaded it.

I do believe the reason Cork won last Year's All-Ireland was due to Down knocking out Kerry and Dublin knocking out Tyrone. Cork can beat the Kingdom at any ground that isn't Croke Park.

Heard the moy behaved like a pack of thugs tonight.... I actually like this new attitude they have - stand up for yourselves boys! It's been a long time coming!!

And we still have to play in the Moy. ::)

Need to stop chittering at each other considering how fired up The Moy have been this Year.

Just remembered that Peter Canavan had to register with Cappagh Hurling Club (Killyclogher) in order to play Underage Football for Tyrone when Ballygawley, Cabragh and Dunmoyle wouldn't speak to each other.

Epic Fail by the Blair/Brown Corporation.  :D

It's known as the 'Minority Prod' attitude (ie. the Siege Mentality). His Mum was Buried in Ardboe Parish Church. Perhaps it's still 1969 in his head;

Ardboe's game against Coalisland taught me one thing;

That Johnny Curran can lose the rag at any given opportunity. It certainly argue the case for neutral Linesmen/Umpires. Turloch Wylie was given a few 'verbals' by King Frank and Stevie Coney at Half Time after the Goal (which was defo Squareball imo).

result from the Errigal v Killeeshil game ??

Was wondering for a second, until I realised it was Errigal's Thirds that were playing Killeshil. :)

A Cousin of my Dad told me that Errigal nick players from Killeshil, Beragh and Eskra. And to think that the Club was a merger of three Parishes that initially didn't want to play with each other.  ::)

Just out of curiosity, did Dr. Sigerson (whom Strabane GCF was named in honour of) by any chance have Icelandic parentage? It always sounded to me like an Anglanised version of Sigursen.

Indeed. Originally Sigurdson (Norway) --> Segerson (Kerry) --> Sigerson (Derry/Tyrone).

I was close.

Of course, the first White Settlement in North America was Viking. Lief Erikson, and all that.

Cookstown 0-06 - 4-17 Clonoe tonight in Cookstown. Marty Murray came on to score three of cookstown points towards the end. has he been injured?

Typical 'No Nonsense' performance by the O'Rahillys.

Gortin hammered Newtownstewart unsure of score.

Also in the same division Aghyaran beat Urney.

Did Penrose play for Aghyaran?

Carrickmore 2-12 Greencastle 1-06.

Any word on Moy v Eglish? Reading on Twitter at least 4 men lined?

Hear Killyclogher and Dromore drew 1-09 a piece, Dromore clawing back into a decent Killyclogher lead by the sound of it.

Kinda like the game against Cookstown then? :))

:)

Pretty impressive win for the 'Uncle Hugos'. ;)

stewartstown 1-11 killyman 0-6. the result on tyronegaa.ie is wrong.  2 good goals disallowed and a missed penalty meant we should have won by a lot more as well!

Killyman = Not good enough for Intermediate Level but too good for Junior Level. :))

A Yo-Yo Club if there ever was one.
