I haven't seen a copy of it yet but I will give it a go if I can get a copy. Being more of a hurling man I suspect it's not aimed at the likes of me. You're right about the internet. You can get most breaking GAA news on the web or on a site like this. A newpaper has to work hard to stay relevant. I reckon 20k is a bit on the high side.

Local GAA Discussion / Re: Ulster Club Hurling League

Good to see Dunloy, St Galls and Sarsfields on board. The lack of games in the Antrim league has moved this competition up the pecking order for the stronger clubs. It worked well in Div 2 and Div 3 last year and suspect Div 1 will be all the better in the coming year for the addition of those 3.
Another thing, the seedings will be better this year. Some clubs were clearly out of their Dept and I assume Frankie will take the opportunity to re-grade them. I've also heard that there are to be 4 Divisions rather than the 3 they had last year. Again this will, help ensure that each club gets competition of an appropriate level.

Thank you Sludden. The forcast for Sunday is very bad. Gale force winds! Just what you need for a good game. :-\

Does anyone know when the second semi final will be played. I think it's Slaughneil v Keady. Ballycran beat Cushendall by 2 pts in the first semi final. Awful time of the year to be playing hurling, never mind an Ulster final.

Who was/is Art McGinn? Never heard of him. I feel sorry for Liam Fox with no votes!! Could someone not give him a sympathy vote even if he is Chairman of the British Tory Party. The Brothers Grim were some lads!!
