True - so far anyway. But he's improving and he put Nadal out of last year's US Open. Fed is past his best but, like Sampras, I reckon he'll still grab a few majors on his way back down.

Spot on Farrandeelin - Ros were dire. Along with their general lack of belief there seemed to be a gulf in fitness between the teams which was surprising. In Ros' case it manifested itself in a failure to do the basics - the amount of handpasses etc. that Mayo intercepted was something else.

Unfortunately for Mayo we don't know how good / bad we are (just like after the Sligo game last year).

If they can't keep Mascherano (and that would be a bit of a disaster tbh), Rafa should at least enquire about the possibility of getting Henry as part of the deal. He's always held LFC in some regard and even though he's lost some pace he'd still be an extremely useful addition of class where we need it (i.e. on the wings / striker cover).

Great opportunity for Murray. Still think Federer will have enough for him though - despite Murray's outstanding potential he hasn't made that Grand Slam breakthrough, and he submitted very meekly in the final of the US Open. He's a future champion but it might be a year too soon for him.
