QuoteHe must be on the wind up, nobody is that stupid.

He's from Derry so I wouldn't be so hasty in making comments like that  ;D

He thinks Madeline McCann is some doll that does the bar in O'Hagan's in Dungiven sur!

I'm still waiting for it to be announced on the news that they're flying in Philip Green's private jet to LA to stay with the Beckhams so they can meet Hollywood producers to sell the rights to the story! The way it's going now it's surely only a matter of time!

When are Sir Elton and Liz Hurley throwing the big fundraising bash?!  :-\

On the road when hoors don't acknowledge you doing them a good turn like letting them out at a busy junction. Or hoors that don't do me a good turn and pretend they can't see me when I cutting into traffic!  >:( Driving basically makes my blood boil!

Been to a wedding in Cabra Castle myself and can't beat it for surroundings and it's not that big a drive depending where in Armagh you are.

QuoteIf we were to skelp a man's hand on the stick protecting his catching hand well then no harm done.

Sure has that not been part of the mindset in club hurling especially at minor or reserve level that even if you didn't win the match you still had to nail somebody to have something to talk about in the pub afterwards.

I'm sure Aidan McCloskey just got scunnered as I think he was playing for 7 hurling teams when he was 16 ((2 schools teams, 4 club teams (U-16, Minor, U-21 and Senior) and 2 county teams)) and his da was one of those usual GAA parent ball-busters! Add all the training and playing on top of A-Levels etc. and talk about player burn out!

Great post Hardy. It's as bad as the old adage "shure it's man's game" whenever someone complains about having a stick drawn across their head from behind!

Do you think Donal Og and his counterparts would accept any ban in the extremely unlikey event that one was imposed?! The GPA would have the "professional" hurling stars of Cork on strike before you could say "Fergal Logan".

Tut tut Syd are you really going to choose a foreign game over your national game?  ;D

I watched a bit of one last night on Discovery where he was in the Sierra Nevada and he started eating this little live snake!  :o

Antrim will be in big trouble later in the year if the are shipping 3 goals against the likes of London.

Armagh / Re: Armagh Club football & hurling
May 13, 2007, 10:26:19 PM
QuoteYes i agree Paul mc Cormack would get on any county Hurling team.

That's not what he said and it is stretching it a wee bit to say he'd get on any county hurling team! One of the standout players in Ulster though. Derry didn't really have a standout player today but Ruarii Convery did they heavy scoring. If Armagh keep at it they'll overtake Derry and Down and be challenging Antrim for Ulster honours within the next few years. The fact that the Derry and Down boards don't give a shit about hurling might have something to do with that!

That was some performance today! Everyone was saying before the match that games like this tell us nothing but in fact it told us a lot, for starters Karl Stewart should have stayed in bed and DD Quinn must have a voodoo doll! Antrim were brutal in the second half!

Armagh / Re: Armagh Club football & hurling

Hurling is too fast and skillful for the average Armagh brain to keep up with.

Sounds like you  ;D
