Heading nver to London on Sunday to record the show on Monday. They are flying us over at 9am & putting us up in a hotel overnight. Things could potentially go pear shaped!

BTW, does anyone know of any bars that might show the Cross-Ballinderry match?

I'll be in London on Sunday. Anyone know of any Irish bars that might possibly show the match?

Thanks for the info lads.

Apart from offing CJ & giving one to Judith (don't ask, some strange people out there!) any other requests?

We went to an audition at thd BBC in Belfast last Tuesday, we got a call on Wednesday evening to say we were succesful, the researcher there was an Armagh fan. I wonder if this helped?

Anybody watch this show?

I'm going to be on the next series, heading over to London to film it next month.

I've only seen the show a few times, usually not in from work till near 7pm. What would be the Eggheads strongest/weakest subjects?

Any info would be appreciated.

No 1 would always be a nice creamy pint of Guinness.

Loads of other great beer out there, at the moment I've taken a fancy for Clotworthy Dobbin, a nice ale from the Whitewater brewery up in Kilkeel.

Fair play to the Clonmore no 5, Teague, for giving him taste of his own medicine. Lengthy bans to follow no doubt.

Paddy, walking through a field, sees a man drinking water from a pool with his hand. Paddy shouts "Na ol an  t-uisce, ta sé lan de chac bo" (don't drink the water, it's full of cowshit!). The man shouts back "I'm English, speak English, I don't understand you."
Paddy replies "Use both hands, you'll get more in."

Would've had to been a big lorry seeing at it's attached to the car! Had it serviced last week & whatever machine they were using didn't hold the code. There was no code in the manual hence my request.

Should have added that ultimately it wasn't this match that cost us promotion, it was our performances in a few earlier games. Lest I be accused of sour grapes. Btw I was very impressed with Kieran Toner, he looks like an ideal replacement for McGrane.
