Does controlled schools include so called integrated schools, or are these a separate category?

QuoteI see Saturday 20th March is Paddy's homecoming.
Should be an interesting night. I am sure you boys will at least let him survive until then...

No, but if we don't win this one he will come under pressure and rightly so, Down haven't beaten us in League or Championship for a generation.

Also Armagh need to win this one as we only have 3 games at home and I can't see us getting anything out of away games against Meath and Donegal.

Quotebut were the occupied 6 not at their stronget at the start of the 90's?

The strongest teams then included Donegal which is in unoccupied Ulster. Others like Derry and Down were strong then, but were helped that Kerry were not very strong at that time.

if Stevie was rejuvenated and determined to make a go of it next year, even if it was one last blast, then this would greatly help Armagh and so PORs acceptance.

QuoteThat explains the posters (such as yourself) whose cards weren't debited (I wasn't one of them)
.

Lads, you should have got an Armagh card. The whole talk before the summer was of debits the whole summer long and in the end all they did was take €10!

QuoteThe premium is greatest in the education sector where pay in the Institutes of Technology and the Universities give rise to a premium of 52.6%.

In security services, gardaí and prison officers earn a high premium but Army workers are on less than their private sector counterparts.

While there are many jobs that you can compare, some of these comparisions are a bit suspect. Private armies, where they exist, have a poorly documented pay structure. There are no private universities, the private third level places are lowly ranked places which hardly attract top class staff.

QuoteMaybe he has a point tho when you consider Crossmaglen Rangers

It probably was Cross. Liz Winsdor takes a great interest in them, many's the day she'd be on the bank behind the goals wearing a Barbour jacket with a Corgi on a lead and her shouting at a young BC to get his arse in gear.

QuoteAnd came from England a few hundred years ago

So did a lot of people in Armagh.

You have to wonder about the opposition too. Labour issued a statement saying that a fall in prices was not a reason to cut welfare. Of course if prices had risen then this would be a reason to raise welfare. When the country is broke is no time for real welfare increases.

QuoteI thought it was very interesting that Mc Alinden didn't want it

After all there will be some pretty decent players in the U-21 ranks for the next few seasons.

He'll be gone with 24 hours.

GAA Discussion / Re: 2010 Provincial Draws

QuoteDown have Benny and a couple of decent youngsters, their seniors have won feck all in ages and are beginning to look like the sligo of the north.

Hardly the Sligo of the North, in this century Sligo have beaten Tyrone, won a provincial championship, beaten traditional counties......

It is a pity the draw won't be on TV, the GAA should see exposure for these things. Why not have the hurling draw at a different time and get two sets of media attention?

QuoteThe DUP MLA previously attended a GAA 7s match in Canada as part of the 2009 World Police and Fire Games.

Is he going to a game, not involving the police. Do the Ambulance Service have a team?
