Was reading in the paper there that Ed Joyce was given out yesterday after hitting the ball into the trouser pocket of a Warwickshire fielder.

Find a religion to match your own beliefs. I'm a 100% Unitarian Universalist whatever they are.http://www.beliefnet.com/Entertainment/Quizzes/BeliefOMatic.aspx

Get in touch with Diarmaid Marsden at the Ulster Council, he should be able to put you in contact with someone.
Portadown has/had a foreign national team. I remember reading about a guy called Abbie Mohammed playing for Derrynoose in the 1950s.

Some sad news from Portadown tonight, our club president, and someone well known to all gaels in the county & beyond, Tommy Marley passed away this evening.

Is that the wee man that always stood at the side of the gate with the pipe??? If so that man will be a sad miss to Tir Na Nog i have lasting memories of him even from underage and he alsways would have had a yarn. Rest in Peace
Yes, that's Tommy alright. There are not many of Tommy's kind left.

Recreational football as it is now is great craic. Diarmaid Marsden is thd main driving force behind it. It was first trialled during north Armagh gaelic week last year. There are tournaments run fairly regularly, there was one in Cookstown last month. We had one for Lá na gClub which was a good laugh and have a match organised with Ardboe next month. Rules are simple enough, only two touches and only incidental contact allowed.

No one has lifted the Sam Maguire 3 times but 2 players have captained 3 AI winning football teams. John Kennedy (Dublin) 1891, 1892 & 1894; John (Sean Og) Kennedy (Wexford) 1915-1917.

Lads, probably a bit late with this but there is a quiz on in the Tir na nOg clubrooms tomorrow night (Friday 8th). First prize £100 if anyone is interested, including Tony!
