:o How can anyone say Conor Gormley or Phillip Jordan are over rated? Gormley for me is the best defender in Ulster. He can man mark, mark space, hit, score and intimidate. He was sadly missed last year for Tyrone and i think he may well have gotten voted Club player ofthe year the previous two years as well. Phillip Jordan, along with Thomas O Se has been the best half back in Ireland over this past four years and statistic prove that his man rarely has an impact on the game. Both him an Gormley complement other. IMO both men are in Tyrones top five most influential players.

I am sorry. I can not see the greatness for Cathal McCarron. He would not lace Daisys or indeed the two Toners boots. He is renowned as being just a fraction on the timid side, even within his own age group. As for Conor Gormley cutting it out- as far as i can see he was always at it and that is what makes him effective. As Oisin McConville once said the most hateful yet best defender in Ulster. And Oisin would need to cut it out as wel ;) ???

I said on here a fortnight ago that Conor would likely start. The girl that told me is Miss Carrickmore who is rarley wrong on these things. I know he has been training with some young lads about Carmen as well as Tyrone

Met a Carrickmore Girl, who would know by the way, and she informed me that Conor Gormley looks likely to be fit for this game. Reports of his ankle being broke were of the mark, in fact it was his leg, and he did have a broken leg in fact

There is a more than strong rumour around Dungannon this morning that Roger Keenan is on the verge of accepting the Errigal job, apparently dissilusioned with his job in Belfast, he is prepared to take on a team in a managing capacity again

Not bad at all i must say. Why do egotistic journalists put their photo on top of their articles. The editor is perfectably acceptable but i cant hack thon we Woods upstart stuck in another newspaper. Can no one else write about Ladies football. He knows nothing about it in the first place. I recall him not picking my sister on the Tyrone U16 a few years back because she missed a training because it happened to be the day of my wedding. Jumped up wee fart. I remember Lynette Hughes writing in Team Talk, completly tearing shreds of Errigal Ciaran, won her no friends but i bet you everyone read her stuff. Thats what you need instead of, and no disrespect, Maebh Mo injury crisis

There seems to be a very high Carrickmore representation on that team. Big Oz and Ronan McNally will be lucky to recieve awards. McCallan and McAleer perhaps desrve but what about McGarrity. Are him and Quinn up against other directly? Armour? I have seen Tintown on a number of occasion this year and to me he looks one paced. Cormac McGinley would be an automatic at full back in my opinion. His handling of Gerard Toner in the semi final was out of this world. I also dont think that Enda Clarke played centre forward all year for Greencastle.
These awards are typically biased towards the glamour clubs so Carrickmore and Errigal probably will share the majority of the awards with a tocken junior or intermediate player through in.
