Tyrone / Re: Tyrone Club Football and Hurling

I had heard last week from one of the trialists that they had been told that there would be no reduction until after the McKenna cup.
They had been told that the panel would increase in the interim to take in the returning longterm injuries and the few players who had played their McKenna cup football elsewhere. Plans where for a 40+ panel to travel to Dublin although only 30 could be named.

nrico, I remember that, it was a Louth half-back, ran the length of the pitch and scored, Donnelly never got within 10 yards of him, pure while-looking.

Maybe Harte is going to view Rouse as a sort of a plan B, when things need shaking up.
He may also feel that Rouse in particular of the new guys from the McKenna Cup was geting a wee bit over-hyped and he just wanted to cool it down.

Some boys have commented on the match thread that Mugsy shouldn't be at 11, whilst I think there is the obvious potential that he has named mugsy and Donnelly in each others positions and they will simply switch come throw-in, I thought Mugsy had a good game (particularly 1st half) at 11 against Derry.

Jesus boys, there's sh1te being talked in the last few pages of this thread.
ie my team is weaker/ slower/ younger/ less experienced / less fit than yours.

Truth is in recent years both these teams are usually relatively well on in terms of fitness levels at this time of the year. Both have decent panels. Both have done fairly well in their respective pre-season comps. Both teams will show a comparable mix of established players and those who are trying to break through.

Defeat on Saturday will not be the end of the world for either team and both will hope to put in better performances later in the year than they do on Saturday.

Really looking forward to the match and I hope that it is an occasion that my kids will want to mention to their kids.

As befits my birthplace Tyrone by 2 or 3

After the results on the feild over the w/e it didn't take a rocket scientist to see that this is the action the Ulster Council would take. They can now claim to be all tough and decisive whilst their action means nothing.

Was told a very reliable Taxi service before I went there 2 years ago, www.pragueairportshuttle.com

You book it before travel for a fixed price I think it was about £12 when I went.
They will wait up to about 30mins for late arrivals.
Good service absolutely no hassle driver was full of local knowledge

Seen him play against Derry,  seemed a ball winner good fielding skills etc.
Linked play well was involved in several scores hit the bar himself. Wasn't at yesterday's game but reported to have taken scores well.
Not unmarkable but an akward enough customer.
Not a clone of Donaghy but he looks to be good option to have and develop.
