couldnt disagree with your analysis regarding sponsorship not being a major factor bennyharp in the reappointment just like tactical naievety it wont play a role in the reappointment either.

in joes world the pen is mightier than the sword, but then as someone who played with a pretty small sword he now compensates with his big pen. i wonder what organ he donated

barelegs think you have hit the head on the nail there. if the ccc really wanted harte/tyrone to succeed next weekend then it would be a starred weekend end off. if that aint going to happen what does that say going forward for the current regime. interesting 24 hours ahead. if those games go ahead as per irish news today then harte may skiddle over to garvaghey and clean out his stuff as hes een completley undermined.

with all due respect to limerick when the first round of the qualifiers was drawn surely to god harte mickey kerr and the ccc could have sat down over an old ham sandwich and sorted a plan going forward. this smacks of arrogance on behalf of harte and ignorance on the part of kerr. last year prior to the armagh game the county players played with the clubs as per the 6 day rule thats the precedent thats been set does anyone think that 2015 is a special case. the majority of tyrone players will want this shambles finished asap so they can get back to their clubs. tyrone might beat meath and they might not but thats probably as good as its going to get unless they get tipp and sligo and even then what would paper a big crack. sunday was as poor a county game ive seen in healy in a long long time.
play the games sat night and get on with it. if not 15 of the panel need a game why doesent mickey compromise and allow the lads outside the starting 15 play, might sharpen them up for those legendary 11 a side in house games.

Tommo apologies if you think my post was condoning the actions of the omagh official as it most certainly wasn't. hitting any man a punch on a football field wether you think your right or wrong should never ever be tolerated by anybody. the referee was correct and dealt with the incident accordingly as sludden would have been sent off for inciting the melee in the first place never mind his retaliation. stepping over the line was referencing his actions not the physical action of stepping over the line if that makes sense. Im sure stal mcsorley when he has time to reflect today knows he was wrong to strike sludden and I hope the killyclogher man is equally as reflective as you seem to be implying his striking and subsequent punishment was a lesser crime. a punch is a punch. no example to children by either man. time the gaa  got serious and  rid our games of this nonsense once and for all. I also am man enough to realise that my use of the word karma referencing the best player on the pitch Ciaran mclaughlin being taken out by no 10 was inflammatory and does nothing but deepen the chasm. move on please the game is over and both individuals will have to suffer the consequences.

bit of a crazy action all round tommo 2. both individuals hardly covered themselves in glory have a lot of sympathy with the player he was aggresively attempting to get the ball but stepped over the line with his actions as did the omagh official. ref left with no option both deserved what they got, killyclogher will feel agrieved with the sanction but he the player left the ref no option strike and your off, maybe a bit of karma for omaghs no 5 being struck bout 5 mins earlier and the ref chose to ignore it. both teams seriously understrength and reflected in an error strewn contest. wee cup of tae and a sandwich would have sorted out the sour taste.

goals will come lazy thought processes dromore are leggy and you know it. mccullagh ricey collins o donnell ward and wee fabe to name but a few wheres the youthful legs my friend. omagh will be shaking like french soldiers at the thought of those old timers. omagh may have scored in the last min but did you consider why? the thirty plus brigade ran out of steam thats why. theres more chance of ricey getting a choc ice in gweedore than dromore getting past omagh. more worried bout trillick.

keyboard warrior i love your analysis re mccusker you think that was the difference in last years semi. id of thought dromores midget cornerbacks lack of legs in the middle 8 and over reliance on frees for scores were there undoing not mccuskers absence. omagh will be worried but not unduly revenge is a powerful motivator agreed but it really heped carmen. omagh by 3/4. trillick killyclogher and the island to make up the last 4 for me. whos favourites in the betting lads.

omagh by 6 i heard you all laugh stick with me lads the writing is on the wall. omagh dromore will be interesting now as well, longballin you must know something i dont and i doubt that very much . dromore have 6-7 players who are in the last chance saloon i hope there very very fit those golden oldies as i saw enough golden oldies the night getting burnt in the dust. this game will not be to the end of august most of them old dromore lads will be trained out by that stage. ose abu

rodney at least big oz is back and munroe missed most of last years final anyway. mcgurk has had a persistent knee injury for 4 years now so whilst i respect your inside knowledge id be very surprised if mcgurk doesent play. omagh have been decimated all year by county and injury joe mcmahon meyler grugan and im hearing mullan the fullback all out which too me are bigger losses than any of the carmen three. if i took my omagh tinted glasses off id say that we were very lucky to beat a decent carrickmore team last time out and we are weaker so whilst i was originally hopeful of an impressive win i now feel we will be lucky again to get past the legendary carmen and their all ireland winning tactical genius of a manager. does anyone know whos umpiring with conor on friday night. may the most injury ravaged team have a bit of luck too :)
