Sam

You make joining the GAA sound like signing up for the 'ra

In what way? I'd have thought it was more like joining the SDLP or FF/FG

Don't the PSNI have a GAA team, so Sammy or you implying that they to wish to join the SDLP, FF/FG?
Maybe they are all Nationalists too! :D

The ref for the Clans v Cross game is Paul Rath, who da hell is this guy and what club is he from??? I don't recognise the name!!
Paul is a Harps club man not a bad ref, lets thing run a lot more than others, and always explains why a free was or was not given.  Better than most!

The reason why there are so many different religions is not based on hatred, but on how things are interpreted!
Different people see different things in different ways.

Gerry something - left Harps seniors and went on to win several Fermanagh county championships with Enniskillen Gaels

Rufus should know his name
how long ago are you talking about fcuksake?

Sammy, every thread you enter is the same, you portray yourself as the model prod that loves everyone, ie im not a fan of the OO, but; In no lover of the UVF; but... I commend you for your so called forward thinking but your wee sectarian background keeps creeping out, and your statement about priests preaching evil from the alter just shows that that we man at junior orange castigating all that is Roman has infiltrated your mind forever.

What are you on about? Of course priests preach hate. It's their job, the same as the leaders of any relegion. They have no other function. And for the 500th time I'm not a Prod (model or otherwise), I'm an atheist.

;D  If that is the case then way were so many priests involved in bringing peace to the north?  Cardinal Daly was a prime example, I suppose this was his way of getting in behind enemy lines! ffs sammy wise up!

Good point Corn02,
it was probably predetermined because the ground had just been open.
but surely a game like this would have been better played in the south of the county.

They allow the county to use their grounds to train on...

don't think the harps have even been asked for this to happen ???
I think the reason for the grounds being chosen for championship games is that they are roughly half way between the two teams, and would suit the (anticapated) crowds attending.
