The baldy fuckwit should be attached to the tow bar of his pink Range Rover by the bollix using vice grips and driven around Stretford until his head bleeds so much he needs more hair extensions to cover up the cuts.  A stupid cnut if ever there was and no matter how talented he believes he is he will never play for Ireland as he is all about Stephen.  Self indulgent p***k >:(

Here Here!

That made me laugh. Cheers

They all looked very fit, relaxed and focussed in fairness. A big enough team as well.

I read an article in the western people where Jim Kielty was saying that he has never seen a team as fit as Mayo are at the moment. I suppose he would say that seen as he developed the training programs

I have a feeling that james nallen will partner Heaney in Midfield for this particular clash. most people would be in agreement that Galways midfield would not be the most mobile of units and Nallen has played very well in midfield for Crossmolina this year.

As for Terry Tate, if I thought that most people in the Gaa thought like he does I'd start a campaign to have every such incident prosecuted in the courts, to demonstrate to these idiots the difference between a tussle that is part and parcel of a contact sport and the deliberate breaking of a bone in someones head. Thankfully most people don't try to defend such thuggery.

Might not be a bad idea it would get rid of allot of the antics like the ones witnessed on sunday, you would want allot of time on your hands though!

He wouldnt have got knocked the f**k out if he stayed away. Right so. Henry is a victim aswell then. He got stamped in the face after being targeted by a gang of bullies.

Pfff. If Ronan allowed himself be cowed by every pot walloper during his sporting life he would never have played for his county and country. What Henry got he had it coming. If he went out and played football he would nt have had a glove left on him.

Your going down the wrong road whinging for your pal. I dont remember James, Keane, Gardiner, Mac and the other decent Cross footballers being ganged up on down the years by Ballina. Go figure.

Its not that Moysider. I agree with you about the lads you mentioned above, Henry is a different lad. He is like a light switch, but he is getting all the blame. It takes two to tango. Its awful wrong what happened I accept that but I wont let him take all the blame for this.

I dont think he deserves any violent attention and I wish you wouldnt attribute that kind of bullshit to me. I simply pointed out a few cases where he got harsh treatment. Why are you trying to make more out of it?

I'm making a point that its in his game to stir things up which I have no problem with. You obviously think otherwise, we'll leave it at that.

Venter if your clubman threw a punch in the first minute of a game that broke a guy's cheekbone it is indefensible. There is no excuse. Saying it was a stupid act and then making a number of posts attacking the integrity of the victim of the punch is a cop out.

McGarrity is an amateur who has represented his county and his club with distinction. He deserves better, especially from his countyman.

But Ronan is only the victim because he tried to hit Henry first. That is a fact. Ronan may have only waved his arm towards Henry but he still made the first move. If that didnt happen then we wouldnt be having this argument.

McG hit/slapped Henry first, then Henry clocked him. If McG wants to get involved in that sort of stuff then he should also do a bit of research on who not to get involved with.

Anyway Henry got paid back later on. One of the ballina players racked his studs across Henry's mouth. He had to get 4 stiches but obviously not as bad as a broken cheekbone. Michael Gallagher broke his collar bone as a result of a hefty challenge from Ballina's No.5

So it was a fairly vicious match. I was surprised Paddy Mac didnt take Liam Bradys head off after Brady kicked him on his way to the line. Must be getting sense in his old age

Good. The Crossmolina player involved was Mark Leonard, the Leonards would do anything to get Knockmore men in trouble.
What are you saying?

Johnny Leonard disliked Knockmore. I remember him sayiing to the crowd in 2003 league final 'We have them now', before that last minute goal!!! ;D

Jasus. He said that. He must dislike ye

No Connor Mortimor? Whats the story there?

I couldn't be sure but Has Damien Burke not cleaned Conor every time they lined up against each other? The way he is playing he is bound to get cleaned again so no harm dropping him if that's the reason. He hasn't scored from play now in two and bit games I think.

Barney/Moysider

Just want to let you know that when mayo got that 45' JOM instructed Andy to take the kick. Aidan was making shapes to have a go but Andy he got the shout even though he was walking away from the ball.. At the time I thought it was because he didnt see Aidan as a championship starter, but then he took him off and i realised he has no time for him what so ever. It was like he put him on to please someone else. If he really wanted to give him a fair crack of the whip he would have started him.

David,

How did you think Barry Kelly Played?

When was the last time there was two sets of brothers on the same team? Nallens and Morts or connelleys?

From today. Thought Barry Kelly got on alot of ball but didnt do a whole lot with it, so based on that there is no place for him on the team. Similar to Harte but not as good. Parsons looked good today which would make my previous post about him look way off the mark, but he wasnt great. WH were very bad so it ws easy for him to shine. Maybe he is getting better but I am not convinced. McLoughlin was good. Looked Natural, never seemed to be in any real trouble. I dont like the look of Cunnife. He just seems to be happy to play. You never hear him roaring at someone to take up position or organising things like you would expect. It reminds me of someone in school who keeps the head down incase they might be asked a question.

Thought Ronaldson was very good. Deserves to be starting. Very hard worker and knows where the posts are. Sweeney was ok but dont see him as a first 15 type player. I have to disagree with posters opinions on Andy. Thought he played well doing Cuniffes job for him. The only thing I would say about him is that there is no point in him continuning with the 45's. No use. Its normally a fluke when he scores.

Hope Ger is available for Kery because that is the sort of test he needs. After that sort of game you would have a good idea if he was a solution or another also ran.

I will try to give a brief summary of the match yesterday for anyone who couldnt make it.

First of all I dont think Parsons should be played in the half forward line. His shooting is pathetic. Last year against Tyrone was one of the worst displays of shooting I have seen and again yesterday he missed a stright forward point. He is to yellow for midfield as well. I was surprised by his raction to been taken off. He was playing very bad and should have expected it. I was beside the dugout and when he came off there wasnt a word between himself and JOM he was bull thick and looked straight at JOM with that look of wanting to kill him. JOM didnt even acknowledge him. On yesterday evidence he should not be on the team. Pat harte played a blinder when he came and should be McG's partner. Was Dillon injured? there was no one attending to him when he came off as far as i could see. He was playing poor thats why I thought he came off. I think Barry Kelly would be a good addition to the team. Settled in well and got through allot of good work. Can't say the same about Conroy. That Andy Moran is a hardy buck. When he went to the backs he was launching himself into tackles he was limping after one challenge hope its nothing serious. He should be left in the half back line. Seemed to be able to organise the defense something that was missing  in the first half.

what we found out yesterday is that we do seem to have a very good full back, Andy Moran's best position is in the half back line and Liam O'Malley is no use.
